    Abstract: A flexible electrophotographic imaging member is disclosed which comprises a flexible substrate having an electrically conductive surface, a hole blocking layer comprising an aminosilane reaction product, an adhesive layer having a thickness between about 200 angstroms and about 900 angstroms consisting essentially of at least one copolyester resin having the following formula: ##STR1## wherein the diacid is selected from the group consisting of terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, and mixtures thereof, the diol comprises ethylene glycol, the mole ratio of diacid to diol is 1:1, n is a number between about 175 and about 350 and the T.sub.g of the copolyester resin is between about 50.degree. C. to about 80.degree. C.

    Abstract: An auxiliary drive traction system for an automated guideway transit (AGT) vehicle. Remotely controlled hydraulic or electrically powered auxiliary drive systems are used to drive the AGT vehicle's lateral guide wheels, which are biased against a running surface, thus providing an auxiliary drive and braking system. A remotely controlled clutch may be added so as to selectively couple the auxiliary drive system and the guide wheels. A protective skirt is attached to the edges of the guideway assembly along its entire length in order to shield the guide wheel running surfaces from adverse weather conditions.

    Abstract: An improved monorail guideway assembly including unencumbered running surfaces that are supported by a truss. Electrical bus bars are attached to the underside of the running surfaces and a protective skirt is attached to the edges of the running surfaces along their entire length. The skirt is bent so as to form a smoothly curved shoulder that shields the bus bars and guideway surface from snow or rain.

    Abstract: A temperature control system and method for controlling the bus bar temperature of an automated guideway transit system in relation to the ambient dew point temperature. A resistance temperature device detects the temperature of the bus bars, and a dew point cell detects the dew point temperature of the ambient atmosphere. A first transmitter converts the detected bus bar temperature to a first electrical signal, and then amplifies and transmits the first electrical signal. A second transmitter converts the detected dew point temperature to a second electrical signal, and then amplifies and transmits the second electrical signal. A first electronic comparator receives the transmitted signals and detects the magnitude of the difference between the two signals. When the magnitude of the difference between the two signals reaches a set level, an output signal is triggered.
