    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for an aircraft seat with a removable headrest. The headrest may automatically lock in place in response to being inserted within the seat frame. The headrest may be removed by pressing on an upper backrest in the seat. The upper backrest may release a locking mechanism, and the headrest may be pulled upward in order to remove the headrest from the seat.
