Abstract: The present invention is a reverse auction/lease and review/evaluation method to be used on the Internet. The method permits quantitative analysis of competitive leasing offers according to financial fundamentals and lessee defined qualitative variables and their relative weighting. The invention includes multiple Internet displayable screens which depict and permit inclusion of quantitative and qualitative variables as defined by the lessee. The invention also includes a scoring system by which the lessee can objectively and quantitatively measure competitive bids of prospective lessors participating in a reverse auction conducted on the Internet.

Abstract: A method for determining an optimal sharing mix in a shared savings prescription plan, the method includes identifying a first drug group and a second drug group, wherein the first drug group and the second drug group are formulary equivalents of each other and each include one or more prescriptions, determining a total cost to the first entity for the first drug group and an estimated total cost to the first entity for the second drug group, determining a savings rate associated with utilizing the second drug group versus the first drug group, determining a distribution amount as a function of the savings rate and the total cost to the first entity for the first drug group, and distributing the distribution amount to at least one of a first entity, a second entity, and a third entity based upon one or more predetermined percentages.

Abstract: A method of prescription drug cost savings distribution includes enrolling participants at different levels of a prescription drug distribution and payment chain in a plan for distributing cost savings realized from the selection of a generic form of a prescription drug over a brand name form thereof. If it is determined that a patient participant received a generic form of a prescription drug, a cost difference between the generic form of the prescription drug versus the brand name form of the prescription drug is determined. A percentage of the cost difference is then allocated to one or more of the enrolled participants.
