    Abstract: A battery tray assembly is provided having a vacuum reservoir enclosure molded onto the lower part of a plastic battery tray structure to form an air-tight vacuum reservoir enclosure having a common wall with the battery tray. A vacuum can be created within the vacuum reservoir enclosure utilizing a check valve in communication with the intake manifold of the vehicle engine.
