  • Patent number: 5512710
Abstract: A package is disclosed that incorporates recessed test vias into a circuit substrate. The test vias are preferably formed at the time of substrate manufacture with little additional cost and offer access to electrical test points after hermetic sealing of the package without competing for lead sites on an otherwise crowded package exterior. The vias are preferably recessed below the surface of the substrate and may be backfilled with insulation to prevent unintended contact. Alternatively, the vias may be incorporated into the side of a package used for mounting to a motherboard, in which case the vias will be sealed at the time of package mounting. In still another instances, the vias may be left accessible or filled with a material that is easily removed for later test and service.

  • Patent number: 5347091
Abstract: A multilayer circuit card is disclosed that interconnects multichip modules to each other electrically, and simultaneously acts to dissipate otherwise destructive thermal energy. The circuit card is comprised by an aluminum nitride core and two opposed low temperature co-fired ceramic laminates, all three laminated to each other.

  • Patent number: 4696120
Abstract: A connector particularly designed for attaching fishing lures to fishing lines quickly and effectively. The connector includes a continuous spring steel member particularly shaped to provide a pair of spring loops, one of the loops providing a first ring for connecting the same to a key ring loop or the like with the second such spring loop arranged intermediate along one of the arms of the clip to provide a snap lock force to an engaging hook arranged on the ultimate end of the arm. The unit then provides a pair of spring loops, one at the end of the clip and the other intermediate one of the arms thereof with two such arms being provided and each such arm having a connecting hook to provide interconnection to each of the arms. The dual spring loop assembly provides a more positive connecting relation between the arms of the clip and the dual hook effect respectively on the ends of each of the arms provides a wider and more accessible opening for the user to attach a lure thereto.

  • Patent number: 4422226
Abstract: A pallet (10) for receiving a plurality of electrical components used in fabricating crystal resonators (28, 40, 42, 46), has a number of spaced bosses (12) adapted to receive terminals (30, 32) of the components. The terminals (30, 32) extend through a longitudinal groove (20) so that the components can be readily tested at various phases of assembly. The pallet (10) includes a number of spaced teeth (22) whereby the pallet (10), together with the components, can be advanced through a plurality of testing-and-fabricating stations. The pallet (10) is guided in its longitudinal intermittent movement by means of a keyway (26) constructed integrally in a face of the pallet opposite the side having the teeth (22). The pallet (10), together with the components mounted thereon, can be transferred from one fabricating station to the other through a rack (56) which is adapted to receive a number of pallets (10).
