Abstract: A cargo anchor with a cover plate having a peripheral edge is extensive for covering a panel aperture in the upfacing surface of a side wall of a truck. An anchor bar for securing an anchor line is engaged with the cover plate. A locator plate is fastened to the cover plate with screws and is positioned within a well associated with the panel aperture. The locator plate engages a flange tube within the truck sidewall, limiting movement of the cargo anchor so that a space between the panel aperture and the peripheral edge of the cover plate cannot occur.

Abstract: A combination apparatus comprises a truck bed sidewall providing a horizontally oriented top bed wall portion and an integral downwardly extending inner, outer end portions, and a sidewall cover providing a horizontally oriented top cover portion and integral therewith and extending downwardly therefrom, an inner, outer and end cover portions dimensionally sized to fit over the truck sidewall with the corresponding top, side and end portions in surface to surface contact. The sidewall cover comprises plural sections arranged in linear mutually abutting sequence defining at least one section interface between sections. The interface comprises a pair of complementary mutually interengagable U-shaped edges wherein a first one of the U-shaped edges provides an extending lip and a second one of the U-shaped edges provides a recessed lip, the recessed lip receiving the extending lip in overlapping abutment.

Abstract: A combination commuter van and air conditioning system in which there is highly balanced air flow into the passenger compartment, and in which the combination of the air conditioning system with the van may be made rapidly and economically. A blower and cooling unit is located entirely beneath the van to the rear of the gas tank, and is centered at the central longitudinal vertical plane of the van. Cooled air is discharged from such unit and flows in opposite directions to the sides of the van. It then flows through molded transition elements which extend vertically into and through the van floor, which elements connect to horizontally-extending molded air conduits that are secured in the upper longitudinal corners of the passenger compartment. A totally balanced air flow is thus achieved, without intruding to any substantial extend into the passenger compartment of the van.
