Abstract: A surface finishing and coating methodology that provides a superior looking aluminum product with acceptable corrosion performance for outdoor use. In one embodiment, a coating of high purity aluminum is applied first to an aluminum article or product via cold or thermal spray and the mechanical surface modification (e.g., polishing, buffing, brushing, etc.) is clone second. The resulting product has the desirable light weight and mechanical properties of aluminum with the chosen look and performance of the high purity aluminum coating. The aluminum product to be coated may be obtained by extrusion, forging, casting, or rolling.

Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Paeonia plant named ‘Singing In The Rain II’, characterized by its compact and symmetric globular plant habit; vigorous growth habit; narrow and finely-divided foliage; freely flowering habit; bright yellow-colored flowers that are initially suffused with deep pink when opening and are arranged on strong peduncles just above and beyond the foliage; long flowering period; and good garden performance.

Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Paeonia plant named ‘Smith Opus 1’, characterized by its compact and symmetrically globular plant habit; vigorous growth habit; relatively narrow and finely-incised leaves; numerous large flowers that are arranged on strong peduncles above and beyond the foliar plane; long flowering period; developing flowers are yellow in color and flushed with pink imparting a light orange color to the opening flowers; fully opened flowers are yellow in color and have large prominent red-colored flares at the petal bases; and good garden performance.
