The insulation consists of a first layer of a composite tape of polyimide between two layers of polytetrafluoroethylene. The second overlaying tape layer is unsintered polytetrafluoroethylene. Further disclosed is a process for manufacturing a sintered wire product having a tin plated electrical conductor.
