  • Publication number: 20250025796
Abstract: A method for installing a modular swimming pool slide for integration with landscaping elements. The method includes joining upper, lower, and intermediate slide shell segments in series and installing the joined segments adjacent a pool with a support kit supporting the upper slide segment on a surface adjacent the pool at a higher elevation than the lower slide shell segment. The intermediate slide shell segment is suspended above the surface adjacent the pool by the upper and lower slide shell segments. The joined slide shell segments define a single flume for receiving and guiding a human rider into the pool.

  • Patent number: 11534696
Abstract: A swimming pool slide comprising a pool slide shell and a slide flume formed in the shell to direct downhill sliding motion of a human rider. An interior water conduit transports water from a water source, through the slide shell to a top end of the flume. A slide shell base may be configured to allow for re-positioning of the slide to a proper/desired position relative to a pool edge after having connected the interior water conduit to a water source fixture in a pool deck. The slide may include a water stream shaper comprising a manifold that receives water from the conduit and re-shapes it into a sheet and redirects it onto the slide flume.

  • Publication number: 20210172190
Abstract: A swimming pool accessory assembly including a frame that carries a personal support device such as a stool, and one or more accessories such as a table, a counter, a bar, and/or an umbrella. An arm is connected to the frame and engageable in a socket, such as a pool ladder receiving socket, in a pool deck, such that the first arm, frame, personal support device, and accessory are at least partially supported by engagement of the arm in the socket and the personal support is positioned to support an occupant partially-submerged in the swimming pool.

  • Patent number: 9267359
Abstract: Monitoring scattered gamma rays is used to identify substances disposed between coaxial tubulars disposed in a subterranean wellbore. Gamma rays are strategically directed from within an inner most tubular and into the annulus, some of the gamma rays scatter from the substance between the tubulars and are detected with detectors set a designated axial distance from the gamma ray source. Gamma rays also scatter from fluid within the tubular, a ratio of the gamma rays detected that scatter from the fluid in the tubular and from the substance can be used to determine the substance.

  • Patent number: 8878126
Abstract: Substances on or adjacent a tubular disposed in a subterranean wellbore can be detected and/or their presence identified by monitoring gamma rays scattered from the substances. The substances include deposits on a sidewall of the tubular and liquid contained in the tubular. Examples of the deposits include asphaltenes, paraffins, scale, sand, and the like. Gamma rays are strategically directed from a tool disposed within the tubular and to adjacent a sidewall of the tubular. Some of the gamma rays scatter from the substances adjacent the tubular and are detected with detectors set a designated axial distance from the gamma ray source.
