  • Publication number: 20140314508
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to producing a physical copy of a key from a digital image of a key. A software program receives a digital image of a key. Based on physical ratios of the key, the software program can determine a key blank corresponding to the key. After determining the key blank, the software program can determine a key code of the key, which may then be used to produce a physical copy of the key.

  • Publication number: 20140136628
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to turning snail mail into electronic mail. The snail mail is delivered to the intended recipient's mailbox and then retrieved (i.e., intercepted by a third party) before the intended recipient receives the snail mail from the mailbox. The retrieved mail is then converted into an electronic file that is stored on a server. The intended recipient of the snail mail may then access the electronic file to view the snail mail in electronic format. If desired, the intended recipient can request delivery of the actual snail mail after viewing the electronic file.

  • Publication number: 20110292868
Abstract: A base station unit of a multi-sector omni-radio base station sends different transmit signals to first and second splitters, via first and second feeders, respectively, according to transmit diversity, spatial multiplexing, or both. The first splitter splits the transmit signal sent thereto amongst sector antennas in a first set of sector antennas, and the second splitter splits the transmit signal sent thereto among sector antennas in a second set of sector antennas. These first and second sets provide coverage for some of the same sectors of a geographic area. Finally, first and second combiners combine signals received by the sector antennas in the first or second set, respectively, at least one of those signals having first been converted to a different frequency, and send the resulting composite signal to the base station unit, via the first or second feeder, respectively.

  • Patent number: 7777333
Abstract: A solder bump structure and an under bump metallurgical structure. An upper surface of a semiconductor substrate comprises a first conductive pad (200) disposed thereon. A passivation layer (202) overlies the upper surface. A second conductive pad (212) is disposed in an opening (204) in the passivation layer and in contact with the first conductive pad. The under bump metallurgical structure (300) encapsulates the second conductive pad, covering an upper surface and sidewalls surfaces of the second conductive pad, protecting both the first and the second conductive pads from environmental and processing effects. According to the present invention, the conventional second passivation layer is not required. Methods for forming the various structures are also presented.
