Abstract: A barrier having an upper elongate support and a lower elongate support, and a two-wire tensioning assembly with two only substantially vertical portions extending between the upper and lower elongate supports, with two wires each attached through a spreader, the spreader having a threaded aperture and a shaft threadably engaging the aperture and being positioned to either directly or indirectly engage a one of the elongate supports, where rotation of the shaft relative to the spreader will effect a change in tensioning of both substantially vertical portions of the wires at the same time.

Abstract: A transportable building system including at least partially erecting a building, transporting the at least partially erected building on its side to a building location, locating the at least partially erected building on a support at the building location, and orientating the at least partially erected building so that it is correctly orientated relative to its support. Further disclosed is a transportable building, including a first structural component, a second structural component and a hinge coupling the first and second structural components whereby the second structural component is pivotable between a folded position and an unfolded erected position of the building. The hinge is reconfigurable to allow the second structural component to be relatively displaced away from the first structural component in the unfolded erected position of the second structural component.

Abstract: A transportable building module including structure defining a floor sub-frame (13) and at least one wall structure (16) about a room space. The building module further includes at least one roof sub-module (20). This roof sub-module is hingedly mounted to the wall structure for pivotal movement between an extended position and a retracted transport position, in which retracted transport position the height of the building module is less than when the roof sub-module is in its extended position. In separate aspects, there are disclosed a transportable building with a separate roof module, and a building with a transversely arranged roof module beam.

Abstract: Walls are constructed using roof support posts for load bearing, and panels therebetween. The panels provide both the inner and outer surfaces of the walls, and form with adjacent panels, recesses to accommodate the roof support posts.
