  • Publication number: 20240108311
Abstract: A Multiple Aperture Ultrasound Imaging (MAUI) probe or transducer is uniquely capable of simultaneous imaging of a region of interest from separate apertures of ultrasound arrays. Some embodiments provide systems and methods for designing, building and using ultrasound probes having continuous arrays of ultrasound transducers which may have a substantially continuous concave curved shape in two or three dimensions (i.e., concave relative to an object to be imaged). Other embodiments herein provide systems and methods for designing, building and using ultrasound imaging probes having other unique configurations, such as adjustable probes and probes with variable configurations.

  • Patent number: 4159138
Abstract: A snap-acting latch mechanism for sliding doors is disclosed in which a latch bar is rotatably mounted and extends from a latch assembly for insertion into a keeper assembly. The keeper assembly is formed for cooperative engagement of a head portion of the latch bar to retain the same against withdrawal and yet the latch bar can be rotated to a position enabling withdrawal from the keeper assembly. In the improved mechanism of the present invention the keeper assembly includes a pair of resilient band means mounted in side-by-side, spaced apart relation so as to snap into engagement behind the head of the latch bar and yet enable withdrawal of the latch bar upon rotation of the head by 90.degree..

  • Patent number: 4109949
Abstract: A high strength, self loading, gravity biased security lock for positive securement of doors, windows and similar closures is disclosed. The security lock includes a pair of mounting elements, i.e., a bolt assembly and a latch assembly, formed for rapid and simple mounting of the assemblies to external surfaces of a door and door frame without the need for modifying or altering the construction of the door. The assemblies can be mounted to either right or left opening doors or floor mounted, and the fastening elements used to mount the security lock to the door are located in inaccessible positions when the lock is in the latched condition.

  • Patent number: 3938836
Abstract: A high strength bolt assembly for positive securement of doors and the like is disclosed. The assembly includes a pair of mounting elements adapted for mounting to a door and door frame, and a slide bolt mounted to one of the elements for sliding movement to and from a bolted position engaging the remaining element. The mounting elements include flange portions and the flange portions and the slide bolt are each formed with openings therethrough positioned to enable padlocking of the flanges and bolt together as a unit. The mounting elements further are preferably formed for access to the padlock locking the bolt assembly from either side of the door. In one embodiment the flanges are provided on each of the mounting elements and extend toward each other to overlap in side-by-side relation. In another embodiment, particularly well suited for sliding glass doors, the flanges are provided on a single mounting element.
