    Abstract: A stone shield adjustably attachable to the rear bumper of a pick-up truck extends substantially across the vehicle for protection of a load being towed. The stone shield is mounted to the bumper by brackets that may be adjustably positioned forwardly or rearwardly to allow proper positioning of the shield in the space ahead of the rear bumper and to facilitate alignment of hinge clips for the shield.
