  • Patent number: 9364699
Abstract: An inflatable recreation device is formed of a plurality of inflatable donut-shaped tubular members secured in stacked configuration and having an opening extending therethrough. With a first end of the plurality of stacked members facing upwardly, a rebound surface secured to the first end extends over a first end of the opening to form a rebound surface upon which a user can jump. When the device is turned over, the rebound surface faces downwardly to form a bottom of the opening and a second end of the plurality of stacked members and the opening face upwardly whereby users can sit around the second end of the stacked members with feet extending into the opening, or can walk around the second end as a balance beam. Further, the stacked members can be turned on their side and rolled with users inside the opening.

  • Publication number: 20140170930
Abstract: An inflatable recreation device that provides an open rollable structure sized to receive at least one user (person) therein and to roll, with the user therein, along a surface, is formed by a plurality of joined inflatable tubular members. Inflatable cross members can be provided extending between individual inflatable tubular members or between different locations of the same inflatable tubular members to provide support for and holding surfaces for the user or users within the structure and to strengthen the structure itself. Handles to provide holding locations for a user's hands and/or feet can also be provided within the structure.

  • Patent number: 7993208
Abstract: Play equipment that combines the movements of a teeter totter and a merry-go-round includes a support for suspending a riding assembly, a riding assembly upon which a rider is supported, such as upon which a rider sits or a rider hangs from, and a suspending means which suspends the riding assembly from the support for both rotational movement with respect to the support and up and down movement with respect to the support. The up and down movement may be achieved by pivotal movement or by swinging movement. The support of the invention may be adjustable to adjust the height of the riding assembly. When seats for the riders are provided, the seats may include restraining means, such as back and side rails to help keep the rider in the seat. The equipment can include a single beam providing a pair of oppositely extending arms as with a traditional teeter tooter, or can include additional beams or arms, such as four arms, to accommodate additional riders.

  • Publication number: 20110136597
Abstract: A game apparatus including at least one rebound surface upon which a player can jump, flexible material extending substantially vertically up from the at least one rebound surface dividing the at least one rebound surface into at least two individual play areas having the at least one rebound surface as a floor, an opening between the play areas a preset distance above the rebound surface to allow a play object to move between play areas includes an inflatable flexible material mounting frame supporting the flexible material. An inflatable rebound surface mounting frame can also be provided for supporting the rebound surface.

  • Patent number: 7762927
Abstract: A game apparatus including at least one rebound surface and flexible material dividing the rebound surface into at least two play areas includes a rebound surface mounting frame and a flexible material mounting frame coupled to hold the frames in substantially fixed relationship but allow movement of one frame in relation to the other for stress relief between the frames. At least one cross member supports the flexible material between play areas and reinforces the flexible material mounting frame. The individual play areas are formed by separate preassembled flexible material units that are mounted in the flexible material mounting frame and then secured together to for the individual play areas. The flexible material mounting frame includes walk bars and also supports basket assemblies used in game play.

  • Patent number: 7462142
Abstract: An inflatable mat for use as a training aid and supporting and rebound surface, such as for a gymnastics mat, and fall breaking landing pad, such as for a high jump and pole vaulting landing pit, includes a closed inflatable body having opposite sides and a plurality of bungee cords secured to and extending between the opposite sides whereby, when the body is inflated, a force applied to the mat, such as by an athlete jumping on the mat or falling onto the mat, will cause stretching of at least one of the bungee cords to aid in absorbing the force applied to the mat. With a closed or sealed inflatable body, the mat can be adjusted by adjusting the amount of inflation to provide shock absorption and rebound when jumping on the mat similar to a trampoline surface or to provide more deceleration and absorption of a fall onto the mat and less rebound as needed for landing pit applications.

  • Patent number: 7210976
Abstract: An inflatable play structure includes an inflatable platform and an inflatable slide attached to the platform. The platform provides stability to the slide when the structure is used in water so that it does not easily turn over. Further, the slide is preferably positioned on the platform so that the platform provides a resting and staging area for the slide. When used on land, the slide may be positioned so the platform provides a cushioned area for a user to land when coming down the slide.

  • Patent number: 7037220
Abstract: A supporting frame with netting material is placed around a swimming pool, either an in ground pool or an above ground pool, to at least partially enclose the pool and provide for the attachment and support of sport apparatus such as basketball, aeroball, and/or water polo goals at opposite sides or ends of the pool and such as a volleyball net stretched across the pool. The netting material may extend along the ends of the pool, around the entire periphery of the pool, and, if desired, across the top of the pool. The netting material ensures that lose sport apparatus, such as balls, used with the attached sport apparatus that contacts the netting material remains in the pool. The supporting frame includes support members that are secured to the pool. If the pool is an above ground pool, the support members are secured to the pool structure. The support members may be substantially rigid members or inflatable members.

  • Patent number: 6551215
Abstract: A climbing structure is formed by evacuating an airtight cover bag over a structure core that includes blocks forming various hand and foot holds that creates a relief resembling a rock outcropping or rock surface. The blocks are preferably made of a rigid but soft or flexible material so that the blocks will hold their shape when used as hand and foot holds, but are somewhat soft in the event a climber falls or slides down the climbing face. The structure can be made in the form of a traditional climbing wall or take various other forms and may, when used as a recreational play climbing structure, have a core made up of a plurality of core blocks in a random arrangement. The structure may be used on land or in water as a water play device.
