  • Patent number: 5599363
Abstract: In a gas cleaning apparatus a filter belt is arranged to move in a flight path across and transverse to a gas flow stream so that successive incremental portions of the filter belt enter the gas flow stream at an entrance point, pass thereacross, and then leave it at an exit point, with and means for moving the successive incremental portions of the filter belt in seriatim into and out of the gas flow stream.

  • Patent number: 5046474
Abstract: A crankcase fumes treatment apparatus envisions a primary filtering system for extracting fuel, moisture and solids from the engine crankcase, the solids being mainly trapped by a filter element preventing reentry into the engine, with the fuel vapors and moisture being conducted returnably to the engine for increasing horsepower and a secondary filtering system for secondarily filtering the fuel vapors from solids before passage to the engine.

  • Patent number: 4704143
Abstract: An in-line after-air filter is disclosed for optimal filtration of a maximum volume of air flowing to the engine. A multiple filter system comprising discrete abutting reticulated foam filter elements of different porosity impregnated with a petroleum-based agent trap air contaminants as the air flows from the primary filter to the engine manifold. An air expansion coupling, flared air inlet port and an air diffuser allow maximum air flow through the filter elements. A retainer plate having numerous six-sided openings allows a maximum volume of air to flow through the outlet port and the air funneler coupling to the engine manifold.

  • Patent number: 4112910
Abstract: A pre-lube device for internal combustion engines. A quantity of oil, heated if desired, is stored in a chamber. Upon activation of the ignition for the engine, an electromagnet is energized, releasing a holding device for a coiled power spring which allows the spring to fully extend. The extending spring drives a piston located within the oil chamber to a fully extended position, thereby forcibly evacuating the oil from the chamber through a conduit into and throughout the engine galley in order to fully lubricate the engine prior to start, for the purpose of minimizing wear on the engine.
