  • Patent number: 5252913
Abstract: A combined current and voltage measuring sensor for measuring voltage and current on a primary conductor, the sensor including a cast resin body having therein a aluminum support, the support having an aluminum encasement mounted thereto. An air core coil is encapsulate with the encasement within the cast resin body adjacent a grooved portion in the cast resin body for maintaining the primary conductor in the top of the cast resin body. The groove and the aluminum encasement cooperate to precisely locate the primary conductor with respect to the air core coil. A keeper assembly mechanically maintains and locates the primary conductor in the groove and further provides an electrical connection from the primary conductor to the voltage measuring apparatus of the sensor. A corona shield encapsulated within the cast resin body is at the same potential as the conductor and is interposed between the air coil and the groove of the cast resin body.

  • Patent number: 4935693
Abstract: A combined current and voltage measuring sensor for measuring voltage and current on a primary conductor, the sensor including a cast resin body having therein a aluminum support, the support having an aluminum encasement mounted thereto. An open air coil is located in the encasement adjacent a grooved portion in the cast resin body for maintaining the primary conductor in the top of the cast resin body. The groove and the aluminum encasement cooperate to precisely located the primary conductor with respect to the open air coil. A keeper assembly mechanically maintains and locates the primary conductor in the groove and further provides an electrical connection from the primary conductor to the voltage measuring apparatus of the sensor.

  • Patent number: 4492817
Abstract: A watertight bushing and bolt mounting assembly includes a collar portion around the bushing with a first groove within which is received an upturned flange surrounding an opening in the wall member through which the bushing extends. A resilient first seal member around the flange is pressed against the wall member, the flange or the shoulder formed therebetween to create a watertight seal around the opening when the bushing is clamped to the wall member. A clamp plate secures the bushing to the wall member by means of a watertight bolt mounting assembly which includes a nut with an annular cavity receiving an upturned lip surrounding the bolt bore. A bolt seal member is located around the lip of the bolt bore and is pressed by the nut against the wall member, the lip or the bolt shoulder formed therebetween to create a watertight seal around the bolt bore.

  • Patent number: 4194378
Abstract: The following specification describes a plurality of combination lock cylinders, each of the axially movable tumbler pin type and each having a drive plate initially rotatable in a selected one of two directions by the tumbler operating pins of a respective operating key to control a bolt. A lock cylinder extraction key having tumbler pins universal to each lock cylinder rotates the drive plate in the direction opposite the selected direction to align a slot in the drive plate with a boss in the housing for enabling removal of a respective lock cylinder from its housing. Each lock cylinder has one pair of bayonet slots extending in the selected direction and engaged only by bayonet pins on the respective operating key for enabling rotation of the drive plate only in the selected direction and another pair of axially offset bayonet slots extending in the opposite direction and engaged only by bayonet pins on the lock cylinder extraction key to enable rotation of the drive plate only in the opposite direction.
