Donald W. Wilson has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20040177870
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel, curb-conforming, multi-nozzle spray nozzle apparatus and a mobile pressure washing unit to permit curb cleaning without requiring human intervention. In addition, the novel, curb-conforming, multi-nozzle spray nozzle apparatus of the present invention is configured to address a variety of curb shapes, rather than the simple straight configurations of the prior art. The combination of these two items permit a significant reduction in the time and energy required to clean the curbs and sidewalks of a large neighborhood.

  • Patent number: 6392235
Abstract: A coded aperture is placed in proximity of a patient's body and a 2D coded image is acquired in conventional manner. The basic data-acquisition geometry is similar to that used in various coded-aperture systems. According to one aspect of the invention, additional coded images are acquired with different spacings between the aperture and the detector. Alternatively, additional coded images could be acquired with multiple movable apertures or by varying the location of the aperture relative to a patient. Another aspect of the invention resides in the recognition that presently available computer algorithms can process these multiple coded images in such a way as to estimate the integrals of the 3D object over a set of parallel cylindrical tubes extending through the volume of the target object. Such “tube integrals” can be thought of as the output of an ideal collimator where the sensitivity is confined to a tubular region of constant cross-section.

  • Patent number: 6143343
Abstract: A process and device for reducing the harmful affects of bacterial contamination in seafood products via freezing the seafood products and maintaining them in cold storage. The process and device features an ice glazing step in which the raw product is sealed in a thin layer of ice. This layer of ice serves to preserve the raw product's original taste during the cold storage.

  • Patent number: 5864827
Abstract: In a device and method to provide a gateway for the transfer of information between financial markets and customers, a processor is coupled to a customer system and to a financial market system. The processor receives transaction information from the customer system in a first format, converts it to a second format and transmits the transaction information to the financial market system. The processor receives an acknowledgment and a transaction confirmation from the financial market system in the second format, converts these to the first format and transmits the acknowledgment and the transaction confirmation to the customer system. The processor may also be coupled to a memory, where it stores tracking information relating to the transaction information, the acknowledgment and/or the transaction confirmation.

  • Patent number: 4804013
Abstract: A fluid line deicer specifically designed for use on air brake lines of a tractor trailer includes an alcohol storage tank provided with fittings for engagement between the tractor air supply line and the trailer brake lines. The alcohol storage tank may be provided with a pressure gage for monitoring pressure in the system and a sight glass for monitoring the alcohol level of the tank. In use, when operating in cold conditions where brake line freeze up is encountered, alcohol is added through a screw on cap to the alcohol tank so that it may be introduced into the brake lines. The alcohol absorbs any moisture and thaws any ice deposits in the brake lines and prevents ice up.
