  • Publication number: 20110144428
Abstract: An instrument configured to prepare a penis for implantation of a penile prosthetic includes a shaft extending between a distal end and a proximal end, a plunger coupled to and movable relative to the shaft, and a dilation head coupled to a distal end of the plunger and disposed around an exterior'of the shaft. The dilation head is movable longitudinally along the shaft.

  • Publication number: 20110046644
Abstract: A method of suturing tissue includes engaging tissue with a suturing head, driving a needle from a proximal end portion of the suturing head through the tissue, and engaging a capsule disposed in a distal end portion of the suturing head with the needle, the capsule comprising a length of suture attached thereto.

  • Publication number: 20110022063
Abstract: A suturing assembly configured to place suture in tissue includes a handle having an actuator, a shaft coupled to the handle, and a head coupled to the shaft. The head includes a proximal portion housing a needle movable through a needle exit port and a distal end spaced apart from the proximal portion by a throat, the distal end defining a cavity. The actuator is configured to move the needle out of the needle exit port formed in the proximal portion of the head and across the throat to engage a capsule disposed in the cavity formed in the distal end of the head, the capsule attached to the suture.

  • Publication number: 20070246109
Abstract: This invention relates to a rotary valve device for controlling and distributing flow of a fluid medium directly in response to the rotary motion of a motor shaft. Fluid medium is continuously supplied to a cavitated disk through a manifold by a pump source where the cavitated disk rotates at the same rotational speed as the motor shaft. The cavitated disk has a first void region in continuous fluid communication with the pump source and alternately communicates with cylinder conduits to drive a piston. A second void region in the cavitated disk is so dimensioned and proportioned to permit fluid medium to be alternately exhausted from the cylinder and to be distributed to exhaust conduits and then to the atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 4413361
Abstract: A deck structure and fence for above ground swimming pools, with the deck being supported at its inner peripheral end on the seat rest mounted on top of the swimming pool side wall. The deck is comprised of a plurality of platform sections of predetermined size and shape, and by adjusting the distance by which the deck section inner ends overhang the seat rest, the same group of deck sections may be used with round or oval swimming pools having arcuate side walls within a predetermined range of diameters. The outer end of the deck is supported on upstanding posts having lock tabs at both ends. Openings formed through the lock tabs define hinge lines at predetermined locations which cause the lock tabs to be tensioned and prestressed as they are bent into locking engagement with deck frame members and ground support plates through mating apertures therein. A deck fence is held together by a double lock tab arrangement through which the fence top rails are securely interlocked with upright fence posts.
