  • Publication number: 20240277261
Abstract: Computer system and computer-implemented method for rendering representations of blood gas state parameters of a patient to support a medically trained person in blood gas analysis of the patient's blood, comprising: receiving, from a data source, time series of sampled measurement values obtained from a plurality of blood gas analysis sensors for the following blood gas state parameters of the patient: Glucose, Chloride, Potassium, Calcium, Sodium, and Hemoglobin; mapping each state parameter to a predefined corresponding graphical representation with each graphical representation for a particular state parameter being distinct from all graphical representations of the remaining state parameters; and rendering, in a virtual 3D tunnel shaped scene representing the inside of an artery, animated visualizations of the graphical representations, in accordance with predefined animation rules, such that respective graphical objects move through the inside of the artery and reflect current values of the respective s

  • Publication number: 20220172362
Abstract: Multiple streams of raw blood coagulation function data may be synthesized into a single display or instrument, showing a synthetic model of a blood clot, which is generated according to algorithms and rendered dynamically in real time by a graphics processor. Dynamic alterations in the states or attributes of specified parts of a displayed blood clot may be used. The dynamic alterations involve, but are not limited to, the shape of parts, changes in the volume of parts, in a three-dimensional representation, or the area of parts, in a two-dimensional representation, number and movement of parts, and changes in the color of parts. The blood clot may be looked at from all angles according to user input. The dynamically altered parts of the visual clot model may include background, drug indicator, fibrin mesh indicator, plasmatic coagulation factor indicator, blood drops and pool of blood indicator, and platelet indicator.

  • Patent number: 8569480
Abstract: Described are a hydroxyethylstarch, a process for the preparation thereof, a pharmaceutical formulation containing such a hydroxyethylstarch, and the use of the pharmaceutical formulation for the preparation of a volume replacement, a plasma replacement or a plasma volume expander, as well as the use of the pharmaceutical formulation for maintaining normovolemia and/or for improving the macro- and microcirculation and/or for improving the nutritive oxygen supply and/or for stabilizing hemodynamics and/or for improving the volume efficiency and/or for reducing the plasma viscosity and/or for increasing anemia tolerance and/or for hemodilution, especially for therapeutic hemodilution in disturbed blood supply and arterial, especially peripheral arterial, occlusive diseases.
