This is accomplished by having a layered construction comprising different fabric/textile materials where the enhanced range of motion is desired. In aspects, the upper body garment includes an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve where the garment is structured so that the outer sleeve is decoupled from the inner sleeve in one or more locations.

A first textile edge of the article is attached to respective peaks of the first series of peaks but is unattached from respective troughs of the first series of troughs to form a first series of spaces.
