Abstract: In a L×M×N 3D torus network of computer nodes, a 2-dimensional plane comprising M×N torus network of nodes mapped into M/2 meshes×2*N torus network of nodes. N can be k*M, k is an integer greater than zero, and M and N are even numbers. Each of M/2 mesh of the 2*N torus is contiguous in the 2D plane. Mapping is performed for each of the L planes of the L×M×N 3D torus network. The M/2 meshes are combined with a remaining torus network dimension comprising L planes, the combining creating another 2*N pattern, wherein an L*M/2×2*N communication pattern is created. Application entities are executed according to the mapped L*M/2×2*N communication pattern.

In an embodiment of the invention, a method for software globalization management includes loading markup in a browser for rendering in the browser and parsing the markup to identify different markup language tags disposed in the markup. Thereafter, on condition that during the parsing a globalization tag is detected, an internationalization key associated with a textual resource is extracted in connection with the globalization tag, a locale setting is retrieved for the browser, the key is submitted to remote repository with the locale setting in order to retrieve therefrom a translated form of the textual resource in accordance with the locale setting, the translated form of the textual resource is received in response to the requesting and the markup is rendered with the translated form of the textual resource.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to text resources in an application. According to a method, an updated application is run, wherein information displayed on at least one text resource in the updated application is editable and the information displayed on at least one text resource in an original application of the updated application is not editable. Then, in response to a first piece of information displayed on a text resource of the at least one text resource being changed to a second piece of information, ID of the text resource of the at least one text resource in the updated application is obtained; and the second piece of information is mapped to the ID of the text resource in a file corresponding to the at least one text resource in the updated application.

Abstract: A method for driving display panel and a driving device are disclosed. A transition period is inserted between displaying two neighboring frames, pixels in the nth row to the Nth row of the display panel are switched on simultaneously in the transition period, and a voltage with the highest grayscale is applied to the pixels which are switched on. This is equivalent to turning the grayscale of pixels in the nth row to the Nth row into the highest grayscale after displaying a frame and before displaying a next frame. This can improve the response time of pixels in the nth row to the Nth row during displaying the next frame, and thus can increase the display quality of the display panel.

Abstract: A starch-based cooling material of the invention is prepared by 8.0 to 9.0 parts of a starch, 0.5 to 1.0 part of a phase change material, and 0.5 to 1.0 a part of polyol. The starch-based cooling material of the invention is prepared by coordination of the starch, the phase change material and the polyol, wherein the phase change material has effects of absorbing and storing heat, a temperature of smoke can be significantly reduced, an effect of fast and strong cooling is realized, and a cooling effect can reach 70° C. to 120° C. All the raw materials for preparing are biodegradable materials, and a prepared heat-not-burn cigarette filter stick can be degraded after use, which is environmental friendly, and can be widely used in the field of preparing heat-not-burning cigarette products.

Abstract: A light-emitting assembly contains a light-emitting diode and a driving circuit configured to provide a driving current for driving the light-emitting diode to emit a light. The driving circuit comprises a thermistor, which is coupled to the light-emitting diode and configured to have an electrical resistance thereof altering with a change of a temperature of the light-emitting assembly to thereby adjust an intensity of the driving current. The thermistor can be a metal thermistor, a negative-temperature coefficient thermistor, a critical-temperature thermistor, or a positive-temperature coefficient thermistor. The light-emitting assembly can automatically adjust a brightness of the light emitted by the light-emitting diode to be within an expected range, causing an improved working life and reliability. The light-emitting assembly can be employed in a lighting device or a display panel.

Abstract: A system for reducing or eliminating PIM interference in an RX signal is disclosed. The system is configured to use RX and TX signals to generate a frequency-shifted output that includes a RX carrier signal component of the RX signal, as well as first and second TX carrier signal components of the TX signal, positioned in a frequency spectrum so that a frequency spacing between the first and the second TX carrier signal components and a frequency spacing between the RX carrier signal component and a closest one of the first and the TX second carrier signal components is smaller than a frequency spacing between the first and the second TX carrier signal components in the TX signal. The system may then use the frequency-shifted output to generate an estimate of a PIM signal component in the RX signal.

Abstract: A multi-circulation heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) for steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD)/Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) processes comprises a steam drum internally partitioned to provide a clean side and a dirty side. The clean side downcomer pipe supplies water to one or more generating banks as part of a clean circuit located in a high heat flux zone of the boiler. Boiler water is fed from the clean side of the drum to the dirty side of the drum via natural head differential. Water is then fed through a corresponding downcomer to a dirty generating bank, which is located in a low heat flux zone of the boiler.

Abstract: A method for making texture symbols of a land use classification map is disclosed in the disclosure, including: capture of texture materials; extraction of main colors; color clustering; extraction of a texture skeleton; tile effect removal; and establishment of a texture library. The disclosure has the following advantages: definitions and classes of texture symbols are provided, and a procedure of making texture symbols is made clear; used natural texture symbols and symbolic texture symbols have clear semantic meanings, facilitating information transfer of the map; the quality and layering of the map are improved; the texture symbols can be directly used for production, to provide a fundamental support for survey and mapping of land use, and also to provide a solution for large-scale result mapping of natural resource survey. The expression of thematic maps of current land use classification is improved.
