    Abstract: A full-face shaft tunnel boring machine system includes a tunnel boring machine cutterhead device for tunneling downwards in a shaft; a full-hydraulic formwork device for supporting and walling in a wellbore; and an upper muck-discharge system for vertically conveying rock mucks generated by tunneling. The tunnel boring machine cutterhead device comprises a vertical guide frame, a cutter-expanded boring head and an advanced cutterhead that are fixedly connected in a vertical order from top to bottom so as to form an integrated structure. The vertical guide frame is a hollow cylindrical structure and driven to rotate around an axis of the vertical guide frame by a power mechanism, and an outer wall of the vertical guide frame is provided with multiple sets of first guide rollers.

    Abstract: A method of improving residual stress in a canister in which fuel assemblies are loaded includes, when the canister having a cylindrical canister shell and a canister lid welded to the upper opening of the canister shell is disposed in a cylindrical cask body, filling the space above and around an upper end portion of the canister in the cask body with fill water. Then, compressive stress is applied to a predetermined region of the upper end portion of the canister in the fill water. This makes it possible to readily apply compressive stress to the canister while shielding radioactive rays by the fill water.

Piston rods of the lifting driving cylinders extend below the support plate and are connected to an upper surface of the outer-layer frame. A guide post is mounted on the upper surface of the outer-layer frame and extends above the support plate.

    Abstract: A sunlight concentrating apparatus includes a plate-like reflecting part, with an upper reflection surface extending in an axial and a width direction, and a lower surface having a central linear region fixed to a main shaft part. A pair of bending mechanisms bend the reflection surface by moving opposite end portions in a central normal direction in accordance with a rotation of the main shaft part. The reflecting part includes a mirror plate and a support plate thereon. In the support plate, the ratio between the distance in the width direction from each end portion in the width direction and the second moment of area at this distance is constant between the end portion and the central linear region, allowing the reflection surface to be bent in an are shape.

    Abstract: A pipe includes a tubular reinforced fiber structure, and a tubular matrix resin pipe main body centered on the central axis, together with a reinforced fiber structure, covering an internal side of the reinforced fiber structure on the central axis side, and an external side. An external end surface of the pipe main body has an inclined surface whose diameter is gradually reduced toward the end face, which connects the pipe main body to another pipe main body, with the main body inclined surface coupled to a substantially tubular-shaped coupling. A portion of the reinforced fiber structure near the main body inclined surface has a plurality of fiber bundles extending in parallel to the central axis. This prevents a shear failure of the fiber bundles of the reinforced fiber structure of the main body inclined surface.
