  • Publication number: 20240215384
Abstract: A display apparatus can include pixel areas and a contact area between the pixel areas. An auxiliary electrode can be disposed in the contact area. Each of the pixel areas can include a light-emitting device on a device substrate. An insulating layer including at least one contact hole overlapping with the contact area can be disposed on the device substrate. A connection electrode electrically connected to the auxiliary electrode can extend along a sidewall and a bottom surface of the contact hole. A light-emitting layer and a second electrode of the light-emitting device in each pixel area can extend inside of the contact hole. Thus, in the display apparatus, a process of forming the second electrode and the connection electrode can be simplified, and damage of the light-emitting device due to a process of connecting the second electrode and the connection electrode can be minimized.

  • Publication number: 20240215385
Abstract: A display apparatus including an auxiliary electrode are disclosed. The display apparatus includes a contact area between pixel areas. The auxiliary electrode is within the contact area. A planarization layer covering the auxiliary electrode includes an inclined surface overlapping with the contact area and an upper surface extending from the inclined surface. A connection electrode covering the inclined surface and the upper surface of the planarization layer is connected to the auxiliary electrode. A light-emitting device on each pixel area has first and second electrodes and a light-emitting layer. The light-emitting layer and the second electrode extends onto the connection electrode. The light-emitting layer exposes a portion of the connection electrode by a reflow pattern, and the second electrode is in contact with the portion of the connection electrode exposed by the light-emitting layer. Thus, a process of connecting the second electrode and the connection electrode may be simplified.

  • Patent number: 11836326
Abstract: A touch display apparatus is provided. The touch display apparatus may include touch electrodes on an encapsulating layer covering light-emitting devices. An auxiliary line crossing a display area in which the light-emitting devices are disposed may be disposed on the encapsulating layer. The auxiliary line may be electrically connected to a power voltage supply line at the outside of the display area. Each of the light-emitting devices may include a first emission electrode, a light-emitting layer and a second emission electrode, which are stacked on an emission area defined by a bank insulating layer. The second emission electrode of each light-emitting device may be electrically connected to the auxiliary line on the bank insulating layer. Thus, in the touch display apparatus, a luminance deviation due to a voltage drop may be prevented or at least reduced.

  • Publication number: 20230214075
Abstract: A touch display apparatus is provided. The touch display apparatus may include a touch sensor on an encapsulating layer that covers light-emitting devices. The touch sensor may include first touch electrodes connected in a first direction by first bridge electrodes, and second touch electrodes connected by second bridge electrodes in a second direction that is different from the first direction. A light-blocking pattern may be disposed on the first touch electrodes and the second touch electrodes. The light-blocking pattern may include a conductive material having a lower reflectance than reflectances of the first touch electrodes and the second touch electrodes. The light-blocking pattern may comprise of a first light-blocking pattern electrically connected to the first touch electrodes and a second light-blocking pattern electrically connected to the second touch electrodes. Thus, in the touch display apparatus, the reliability of the touch sensor may be improved by the light-blocking pattern.
