Abstract: A method for accurately diagnosing an internal fault of an oil-immersed transformer by analyzing content ratios of dissolved gases generated when the internal fault occurs in the oil-immersed transformer is provided. The method diagnoses the internal fault by analyzing the dissolved gases contained in the insulating oil of the oil-immersed transformer for internal fault diagnosis, wherein the method comprises: a first step of extracting H2, CH4, C2H4, and C2H2 from the dissolved gases; a second step of calculating a content ratio (%) of each dissolved gas from the total content of the four dissolved gases selected from the extracted five dissolved gases; and a third step of determining the internal fault of the oil-immersed transformer for diagnosis corresponding to an internal fault region according to content ratio (%) values of the calculated four dissolved gases and predetermined content ratios (%) of the four dissolved gases.

The competition-based multiview video encoding/decoding device can improve encoding efficiency by determining a prediction vector with the best encoding performance through an extraction of a spatial prediction vector, a time prediction vector, and a viewpoint prediction vector corresponding to a current block.

The display device forms a conductive pattern on a balance printed circuit board (PCB) and sequentially controls the on/off time of light sources without assigning driving units to each of the light sources. Abstract: A method for adaptively allocating resources of an uplink control channel according to a system situation is disclosed. If a base station (BS) recognizes the system situation, establishes control information for resource allocation, and transmits the control information to a mobile station (MS), the mobile station (MS) allocates resources for transmitting uplink control information using a specific block or a specific resource distribution method according to the corresponding control information. The system situation may be changed according to the number of users contained in the BS's coverage or the usage of a multi-antenna. The variation of the system situation is actively reflected so that the uplink channel resources can be effectively used.

Abstract: A portable device, such as a mobile terminal or user equipment, for encoding uplink acknowledgments to downlink transmissions. The portable device includes a receiver configured to receive a plurality of data blocks, such that each of the data blocks include an associated cyclic redundancy check (CRC), and a processor configured to determine received status for each of the data blocks by checking the CRC of each of the data blocks. The portable device further includes a transmitter for transmitting a response sequence which indicates the received status of all of the data blocks.

Abstract: A method for providing precoding weights for data symbols of data control subframes includes generating a downlink frame having control subframes which individually correspond to one of a plurality of downlink data subframes, and inserting weight information into each of the control subframes, such that the weight information is to be applied to data symbols present in the corresponding one of the data subframes. The method further includes transmitting the control subframes and the inserted weight information to a receiving device.

Abstract: Transmitting an acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) signal in association with a packet transmitted on an uplink is disclosed. The method includes the steps of receiving a packet transmitted from a user equipment, decoding the packet, and determining whether the packet has been successfully decoded, transmitting an ACK signal or a NACK signal, based on the decoding result. Different transmission powers are allocated for the ACK signal and the NACK signal. Alternatively, the transmission power for the NACK signal selectively has an OFF level. The present invention optimizes the transmission powers for downlink ACK/NACK signals in accordance with the required reception quality of each of the ACK/NACK signals, and thus, enables the system to operate efficiently.

In a user equipment of a mobile communication system transceiving data using a plurality of subcarriers, the present invention includes the steps of if the signaling message to be transmitted is generated in the user equipment, generating a preamble sequence according to a user equipment identifier to identify the user equipment, transmitting a preamble signal including the preamble sequence and the signaling message to a base station, and receiving an acknowledgement signal for the preamble signal generated according to the user equipment identifier.

Abstract: Provided are a method and system for preventing personal information of a user using server registration information and an authentication system connected to the Internet. The method includes collecting information regarding servers which provide an Internet service; classifying the safety of sites using the servers based on the information; and providing site information containing the information regarding the servers at the request of a client which tries to access the servers. In the method, addresses of servers of major organizations connected to a network are registered in advance. Therefore, when a terminal of a user tries to access an external site through the network, it is possible to identify which organization has actually registered an address of the site and determine whether the site is a harmful site. If the site is determined to be harmful, the access to the site is blocked, thereby preventing the damages of phishing.

Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method of protecting a user's privacy information and corporate intellectual property against a denial-of-information (DoI) attack, and more particularly, a privacy & intellectual property protection framework (PIPPF) and a network-based privacy & intellectual property protection system (NPIPPS). The PIPPF includes the NPIPPS and an integrated identity access and management (IAM)/network access control (NAC) solution. The NPIPPS monitors inbound and outbound contents at the network level and prevents the leakage of important information. In addition, the integrated IAM/NAC solution prevents abnormal user activity within a network and unauthorized use of information.

Abstract: An apparatus for generating intrusion alert data and a method thereof are provided. The apparatus for generating and transmitting alert data in relation to intrusion includes: an input unit receiving inputs of an alert data type in preparation against an intrusion, and a transmission amount per unit time for transmitting the alert data; an intrusion alert data generation unit generating intrusion alert data according to the alert data type and the transmission amount per unit time; and an intrusion alert data transmission unit transmitting the generated intrusion alert data to a security management system at the rate of the transmission amount per unit time. By generating a large amount of intrusion alert data by using a variety of intrusion alert transfer protocols, and transmitting the data, the performance test of a function for processing intrusion alert data of a security management system can be performed efficiently.

More specifically, the method includes receiving the at least one synchronization signal transmitted from a first cell using a different resource than a resource of a second cell corresponding to the resource of the first cell, wherein the resource is defined by at least one of time period and subcarriers.

Abstract: A method of allocating channels in a user equipment is disclosed. In particular, a method of allocating a plurality of Dedicated Physical Channels (DPCHs) and Enhanced Dedicated Channels (E-DCHs) in a user equipment of a multicode transmission system. The method includes determining whether a High Speed Downlink Shared Channel (HS-DSCH) is configured for the user equipment (UE) and determining a number of codes used by the DPCH and the E-DCH. The method further includes allocating the DPCH and the E-DCH channels to an I branch or a Q branch based on the number of codes used by the DPCH and the E-DCH and the HS-DSCH configuration.

Abstract: User/service authentication methods and apparatuses using split user authentication keys are provided. A user authentication key is generated using user's personal information including an identification number and bio information, the generated user authentication key is split into a plurality of keys, and a request for authentication of a user that uses a first user authentication key provided to the user from among the plurality of split user authentication keys is authenticated using the other user authentication keys.
