    Abstract: The present invention is a CD storage module (20) that includes an upper support (24) and a lower support (22) that are interconnectable horizontally and vertically, and individual CD storage cases (40). The CD storage cases (40) are insertable individually into the upper support (24) and the lower support (22). The CD storage case (40) includes a partition (44) and two outer covers (50 and 52). This configuration forms two compartments wherein a CD (62) may be placed in one compartment and an informational pamphlet placed in an opposite compartment. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the partition (46) and the outer covers (50 and 52) include bevels (76) for contacting only an outer periphery of a CD (62); the bevels (76) prevent scuffing or otherwise damaging a major surface area of the CD (62) as the CD (62) is being inserted and removed. In addition, the CD storage case (40) includes a CD storage case door (42) hingedly secured to the CD storage case (40).

    Abstract: The direction of air flow in an air blower is controlled by a plurality of rotationally adjustable blades (vanes) extending across an air flow passage. A motor is connected to the blades for rotating the blades between passage-opening and passage-closing positions and intermediate positions therebetween. A sensor senses the angular position of the blades and supplies a signal to a controller which compares that signal to a signal representative of a selected angular position of the blades. If the blades become-displaced by a force independent of the motor, the sensor signals the controller of such displacement, whereupon the motor is actuated to return the blades to the selected position.

    Abstract: An automatic flushing device for a urinal has a sensor, a valve assembly for water supply and a control circuit board. The valve assembly comprises a housing having a chamber for receiving a valve, and a chamber for receiving a valve drive. The housing also has an inlet socket and an outlet socket. The valve has a sleeve with an upper portion of a small diameter and a lower portion of a large diameter and an open bottom. The sleeve has inlet port in the upper side wall and a inlet hole in the top portion. A piston is arranged in a reciprocating manner within the upper portion of the sleeve. The piston has an upper piston section provided with a plurality of inlets and a lower piston section provided with an outlet. A relief valve is mounted within the outlet of the piston. A truncated cone spring presses the relief valve down into its closed position. A coil spring installed between the upper piston section and the top portion of the sleeve biases the piston in a downward direction against a bushing.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a method for manufacturing a vessel for storing radioactive waste, and to a method for manufacturing a vessel which withstands the heat generated by the radioactive waste without deforming and a method for manufacturing the vessel. A method for manufacturing a stainless steel vessel for radioactive waste according to the present invention comprises eliminating impurities on the surface of the stainless steel, stirring copper plating solution while filling the vessel therewith in order to keep the solution at a constant temperature, thereby precipitating the copper and plating the surface of the stainless steel vessel, and then filling the vessel with lead.

    Abstract: A cassette tape, preferably formed of plastic, comprising a body portion, an open end therein for insertion of a cassette tape, a hinged cover mounted adjacent the open end of such body portion, and having a closed end and side portions, said cover arranged to fit over and around the open end of the body portion to close said case, pins mounted on the side portions of the cover and a pair of curved notches in opposite sides of the body portion of the case adjacent the open end thereof, to accommodate such pins. A cassette tape having a raised flat surface on opposite sides thereof is adapted to be received within the case in the closed position of the cover, for storage in the case.
