  • Publication number: 20130287937
Abstract: Disclosed are a multi-layer composite porous film and a manufacturing method thereof. More particularly, a manufacturing method, which includes filling pores on at least one face of a polyolefin microporous film substrate using a solvent, and then, applying a coating solution that contains a polymer binder or the polymer binder and inorganic particles, to the film to form a porous coating layer, as well as the multi-layer composite porous film manufactured by the same, are disclosed. The method for manufacturing the multi-layer composite porous film according to the disclosure may provide a multi-layer composite porous film having excellent permeability and shutdown function, without clogging the pores, by improving a coating process. Moreover, if applying the foregoing porous film as a separator to a battery, the battery having superior performance and high safety may be manufactured.

  • Publication number: 20130224558
Abstract: Disclosed is a microporous composite film having a coating layer formed on at least one surface of a microporous polyolefin film, wherein the coating layer simultaneously includes a high thermostable polymer resin and inorganic particles. More specifically, the present invention relates to a microporous composite film in which an area shrinkage at 170° C. for 1 hr is 10% or less; a tensile modulus in each of a machine direction and a transverse direction at 130° C. is 0.5 MPa to 7.0 MPa; a ratio between permeability of a microporous composite film (CCSp) and permeability of a microporous polyolefin film (Sp) is 1.1?CCSp/Sp?3.5; and a permeability of the microporous composite film is 450 sec or less.

  • Publication number: 20030157367
Abstract: There are provided novel blue light-emitting organic electroluminescent polymers having a main chain consisting of 9,10-diphenylanthracene and vinylene, and electroluminescent devices using the same. With the introduction of substituents which are of high thermal stability and are capable of steric hindrance at the alpha position of the vinyl group, the electroluminescent polymers make it easy to conduct inter- and intra-molecular energy transfer, and the injection and transportation of holes or electrons, as well as restraining &pgr;-stacking between polymer chains. Also, the prevention of intermolecular two- and three-dimensional interference by the introduced bulky substituents leads to reduced extinction of excitons, whereby the organic electroluminescent device can emit blue light at high luminous efficiency.
