Abstract: A positioning device and method using two transmirrors for positioning a moving robot which moves in an indoor environment is provided. The positioning device includes a transmitter transmitting signals to first and second transmirrors; a receiver receiving signals from the first and second transmirrors; and a positioning unit determining the position of the moving robot based on time intervals between time points when signals are transmitted to the first and second transmirrors and time points when signals are received from the first and second transmirrors. Accordingly, the number of transmirrors can be reduced, and synchronization between the moving robot and the transmirrors is not needed, so that it is possible to easily implement the positioning with lower cost.

Abstract: There is provided a vehicle status monitoring apparatus and method including a vehicle status sensing unit sensing an external or internal status of a vehicle by using a sensor or an RFID (radio frequency identification) device and determining whether or not the sensed status of the vehicle deviates from a predetermined critical value range; an information collector periodically receiving position information and image information of the vehicle from a GPS (global positioning system) and an image capturing apparatus mounted inside the vehicle, respectively, when the status is determined to deviate from the critical value range; and a transmitter periodically transmitting the received position information and the image information.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for providing a video content service in a vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes a speed detection unit detecting a speed of the vehicle using a global positioning system, a status detection unit detecting a status of a parking brake, and a video control unit controlling one or more display apparatuses so that an the video contents are displayed when the speed of the vehicle is determined to be below a predetermined speed based on information on the detected status of the parking brake and the detected speed of the vehicle. According to the present invention, various video contents can be provided to a driver and passengers while safety driving of the vehicle and the driver's concentration on driving are maintained.

The color wheel of the invention includes a color filter with different colors divided on the circumference thereof, a driving motor rotating a rotor with the color filter assembled thereinto, and a filter adhesion layer fixing the color filter to the carrier by an adhesive applied on the overlapping region of the carrier and the color filter. The color wheel also includes a holder having a fixing part to maintain compressive stress offsetting tensile stress generated at the filter adhesion layer. The invention minimizes tensile stress at the adhesion part for fixing the color filter, increasing the adhesive force between the adherent and the adhesive, thereby allowing firm fixing of the color filter to the driving motor without using an adhesive.

As water is removed from the processing equipment, the removed water carries with it abraded material. The process provides for improved adhesion of the paint to the surface of the golf ball.

Abstract: The present invention is related to a method of producing polycarbosilane by heating polydimethylsilane at low pressure within the range of 320˜450° C. using zeolite having the Si/Al or Si/B ratio of 1˜200 as catalyst. This invention uses a zeolite with the structure of ZSM-5, ZSM-11, ZSM-12, zeolite X and zeolite Y, which has the Si/Al or Si/B ratio of 1˜200, as catalyst. When polycarbosilane is produced using a specific zeolite as catalyst, Si/Al or Si/B ratio can be adjusted at any proportion, enabling acidity control of catalyst, and therefore the molecular weight of final products can be easily controlled and the product yield can be improved, compared to conventional solid acid catalysts.
