Abstract: A routing apparatus includes: a routing table management unit for generating a routing table by receiving interest information of a user of a mobile node, and for broadcasting the routing table through the mobile ad hoc network; an effectiveness calculation unit for calculating effectiveness values for respective paths, included in a routing table broadcasted by some other external node, based on both the interest information of the user of the mobile node and interest information of users of destination nodes of the respective paths when the routing table is received from the other external node; a storing unit for storing the generated routing table; and a routing path setting unit for setting a routing path on the basis of the routing table stored in the storage unit. The routing table management unit updates the routing table using the effectiveness values for respective paths calculated by the effectiveness calculation unit.

Abstract: A blog search method includes estimating authority scores of target blogs to be searched by using local information about the target blogs; calculating priorities of the target blogs based on the authority scores and the presence of documents satisfying a query; and sequentially searching the target blogs based on the priorities. The authority scores is estimated by using at least one of the number of neighboring blogs linked via trackbacks and the number of neighboring blogs linked via comments as the local information.

Abstract: A method and a system of managing conflicts between context-aware applications by use of semantics of abstract service for group context information management. The method includes detecting and resolving a conflict between context-aware applications; upon receiving a service request from an application, analyzing a semantic of the requested service; and registering the semantic into a data structure. A determination is made whether a conflict between service actions occurs in the data structure and when the conflict occurs, removing the semantics of the conflicting service actions from the data structure. The conflict between the service actions arises when actions of the valid applications according to the user policies contradict the same context information in the data structure. After removing the semantics of the service actions from the data structure, a resolution policy for the conflict is generated, and a new service is requested according to the resolution policy.

Abstract: A non-intrusive cursor synchronization system is described that does not change or modify the existing system or application. The cursor synchronization system is used for synchronously displaying a cursor on a plurality of display systems connected together via a network without requiring database or shared memory. The cursor synchronization system includes a plurality of agents, each being coupled to one of the display systems to cause the respective display system to display a consistent cursor movement, and to trigger concurrent execution among a number of existing applications. The cursor synchronization system also includes a cursor synchronizer that captures and compresses the cursor movement generated from one of the display systems within a time interval that is adjustable based on the speed at which the user moves the cursor.
