  • Patent number: 10450195
Abstract: Reactive diluent fluid (22) is introduced into a stream of synthesis gas (or “syngas”) produced in a heat-generating unit such as a partial oxidation (“PDX”) reactor (12) to cool the syngas and form a mixture of cooled syngas and reactive diluent fluid. Carbon dioxide and/or carbon components and/or hydrogen in the mixture of cooled syngas and reactive diluent fluid is reacted (26) with at least a portion of the reactive diluent fluid in the mixture to produce carbon monoxide-enriched and/or solid carbon depleted syngas which is fed into a secondary reformer unit (30) such as an enhanced heat transfer reformer in a heat exchange reformer process. An advantage of the invention is that problems with the mechanical integrity of the secondary unit arising from the high temperature of the syngas from the heat-generating unit are avoided.

  • Publication number: 20190291086
Abstract: A catalyst, including: 0.1-6.0 wt. % of SiO2; 8.0-20.0 wt. % of MoO3; 74.8-91.89 wt. % of Al2O3; and the balance is P2O5 and/or B2O3. A method of preparing the catalyst includes: dissolving ammonium molybdate in water or ammonia water, followed by addition of a silicon precursor, to yield a first mixed solution; stirring and adding an acid to the first mixed solution to yield a second mixed solution; and adding Al2O3 to the second mixed solution, and drying and calcining the resulting product.

  • Patent number: 9938703
Abstract: A drain valve device based on capacitive sensing for a water tank of a toilet includes a drain valve disposed in the water tank of the toilet to control the water tank to drain water; a capacitive sensing control module that opens the drain valve; and an assembly fixture used to connect the capacitive sensing control module to the drain valve to make the capacitive control module and the drain valve form an integration. The assembly fixture connects the capacitive sensing control module and the drain vale to form the integration, so that during assembly of the drain valve, the capacitive sensing control module is affixed to the toilet water tank at the same time. Thus, assembly is simple and convenient, and there is no need to dispose an assembly hole in the water tank cover so the structure is simpler.

  • Publication number: 20170115246
Abstract: Method and apparatus for determining a heating value of a sample hydrocarbon-containing mixture having hydrocarbons and non-hydrocarbons as mixture components. The sample is reacted with an excess amount of oxidant gas in a reaction chamber to form a product gas containing residual oxygen. The molecular weight of the sample is measured and the residual oxygen concentration of the product gas is measured. The heating value is calculated from the measurements of the molecular weight and the residual oxygen concentration. Pure component hydrocarbon gases may be used to calibrate the system.

  • Patent number: 9309130
Abstract: Process for producing a hydrogen-containing product and one or more liquid water products using catalytic steam-hydrocarbon reforming. In the process, a portion of the make-up water is heated by the reformate and another portion of the make-up water is heated by the combustion product gas prior to introducing the make-up water to a deaerator. • Publication number: 20140250785
Abstract: A system is set forth for the exothermic generation of soot depleted syngas comprising (i) reacting a hydrocarbon-containing fuel with an oxygen containing gas in a first reactor to produce the syngas and byproducts comprising CO2, H2O and soot; and (ii) introducing the syngas and byproducts into a second reactor containing a non-carbonaceous material that traps the soot for a sufficient time such that the majority of the byproduct soot is gasified via reaction with the byproduct CO2 and/or H2O to produce a syngas stream that is depleted in the soot. The system is particularly suitable for the practice of heat exchange reforming therein a portion of the heat is recovered from the soot depleted syngas stream and used as at least a portion of the heat to facilitate the additional production of syngas via the (endothermic) catalytic reforming of natural gas and steam.

  • Patent number: 8820537
Abstract: A jig assembly for selecting and presenting fastener nuts in the correct orientation, each fastener nut including a nut cap and an assembling portion formed on an end of the fastener nut. The diameter of the nut cap is larger than the diameter of the assembling portion. The jig assembly includes an electric cabinet, a jig bracket, a feed container, and a sorting tray. The feed container includes a selector with an opening. The width of the opening is equal to the height of the fastener nut, the first sidewall of the selector forms a plurality of restricting protrusions, and each two adjacent restricting protrusions cooperatively define a restricting groove therebetween. The width of each restricting groove is equal to the diameter of the assembling portion, thus only fastener nuts in the correct orientation are capable of passing through the selector to be collected in the sorting tray.
