Abstract: An acetabular cup detaching apparatus for an artificial hip joint, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a body part that rotates with power transmitted thereto; and a cutting part brought in close contact with the inner circumferential surface of the acetabular cup and rotating together with the body part to cut the surface of the acetabular cup. According to the present invention, an operation can be easily performed by rotating a blade, together with a rotary shaft part, along the outer circumferential surface of the acetabular cup in the radial direction of the acetabular cup through electric control, which makes it possible to rapidly and accurately detach the acetabular cup from an acetabular bone irrespective of an operator's skill.
