    Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for performing adjustment to optimize the voltage for each distribution network in a power distribution system. The apparatus for adjusting a voltage in the power distribution system adjusts the voltage by switching a switch that lies on a path in the power distribution system. The apparatus determines a switch that is to become a switching target from among switches lying on the path, obtains a voltage optimization value of the determined switching target switch, selects a switch having the minimum voltage optimization value by changing the switching target switch to another switch in order to obtain the voltage optimization value, and adjusts the voltage through switching of the selected switch.

A transcoder using the method includes an encoding parameter estimator configured to select the two or more reference vectors and to variably establish the search window according to the relativity between the reference vectors. Therefore, the search window may be efficiently established without increasing calculation time, so that the output motion vector may be more correctly estimated.

    Abstract: This invention relates to an opening and closing apparatus for a door of a microwave oven which has lighting lamps. The door of the microwave oven is devised to have a predetermined time until it is opened in a course of power transmission by a driving motor by which the door is opened and closed. The driving motor rotates a driving gear and the driving gear makes an opening and closing lever move linearly. Accordingly the door which is locked with the main body of microwave oven can be opened by the linear motion of the opening and closing lever. Therefore, the door is opened after a predetermined time is passed by the fact that the power transmission from driving motor is delivered to the opening and closing lever through the driving gear so that the remaining light by the lighting lamps can be completely removed. This can prevent the user's eye being damaged by the remaining light and improve the value in use for the microwave oven with lighting lamps.

    Abstract: A cooling device for halogen lamps in microwave ovens is disclosed. In a microwave oven, the halogen lamp is installed on the top wall of a cavity. The lamp is operated by electric power applied thereto through a sealing part provided at each end thereof. The lamp thus radiates heating light waves, having a predetermined wavelength, into the cavity. A light reflection plate surrounds and holds the halogen lamp while forming a lamp chamber on the top wall of the cavity and allows the light waves to be guided from the lamp into the cavity, with the sealing parts of the lamp being positioned outside the light reflection plate. A cooling device generates a cooling air current and guides the cooling air current to the sealing parts positioned outside the light reflection plate.

Thus, leakage of the electromagnetic wave can be prevented due to the slit shape of a predetermined period.
