Abstract: The present invention relates to a location-based service method and system using location data included in image data, particularly to a method and a system of providing the location-based service with photos taken by a camera phone, using location information at the shooting time. The location-based service method according to the present invention, using the image data provided using a terminal equipped with a camera and the location data including the location information of the terminal, comprises the steps of shooting a target image with the terminal at a predetermined location and generating first image data; receiving the location data; including the received location data in the first image data and generating second image data; and displaying an image corresponding to the first image data and providing a service using the location data, if the second image data are selected.

Abstract: Disclosed is related to an interactive multimedia service system and method thereof using mobile station that is enable to see a broadcasting with real time/non-real time. A broadcasting station broadcasts a multimedia contents composed of the broadcasting contents being broadcasted and the other multimedia contents generated by the mobile station, and transmits the composed multimedia contents to the mobile station. Therefore, the user of the mobile station can see the broadcasting, which the user of mobile station participates in the interactive broadcasting with real time/non-real time.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for evaluating video quality. The systems include a video transmitter and a video receiver. The transmitter generates feature parameters from a reference video to be transmitted and transmits the generated feature parameters along with compressed video data via a network. The video receiver receives the feature parameters and the compressed video data via the network, evaluates the video quality of the received video using the feature parameters and transmits video quality evaluation results to the video transmitter via the network.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for measuring transmission quality of multimedia data are provided. Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of transmitting a multimedia message in a mobile communication system, which allows a receiving terminal to access an MMS server suitable for its specification and receive a stored multimedia message, even when a single MMS server is not equipped with all types of media conversion functions corresponding to all specifications of the receiving terminals. According to the invention, the MMS server stores a multimedia message transmitted from a transmitting terminal in a common message storage unit, and ascertains the specification of a receiving terminal while informing the receiving terminal of the arrival of the message.
