Abstract: An air conditioner includes a compressor, a first heat exchanger connected to the compressor through a first connection pipe, a second heat exchanger connected to the first heat exchanger through a second connection pipe and adapted to discharge super-cooled refrigerant through a third connection pipe, and a blower to blow air toward the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger. The first heat exchanger includes a first header in communication with the first connection pipe for introduction of the refrigerant, a plurality of tubes each having one end in communication with the first header and the other opposite end, and a second header in communication with the other end of each of the plurality of tubes. The second heat exchanger includes a heat exchange pipe that is bent plural times between the second connection pipe and the third connection pipe.

Abstract: An evaporator of an air conditioner has front and rear sections, and heat-exchanging pipes comprised of first, second, and third independent refrigerant passages. In the first passage, refrigerant enters a first row of a front line of the rear section, circulates completely through the rear section, and then exits from a second row of the front line of the rear section. In the second passage, refrigerant enters a first row of the front line of the front section, circulates through an upper portion of the front section, and then exits from a first row of the rear line of the front section. In the third passage refrigerant enters a fifth row of the front line of the front section, circulates through a lower portion of the front section, and then exits from a seventh row of the rear line of the front section.

Abstract: An indoor air conditioner unit cools separate rooms through the use of a common fan. The fan comprises a rotary member positioned to physically separate first air inlet and outlet ports from second air inlet and outlet ports. The fan sucks-in air from both inlet ports and discharges air through both outlet ports.
