  • Publication number: 20080067932
Abstract: An organic light emitting display and a method of fabricating the same are disclosed. One embodiment of the organic light emitting display includes a substrate including a pixel region and a cathode-on-driver (COD) region adjacent to the pixel region, a thin film transistor formed on the pixel region of the substrate, and a planarization film formed on an entire surface of the substrate to cover the thin film transistor. The organic light emitting display also includes an organic light emitting diode including a first pixel electrode formed on the planarization film and connected to the thin film transistor, an organic light emitting layer formed on the first pixel electrode, and a second pixel electrode formed on an entire surface of the substrate over the organic light emitting layer. The organic light emitting display further includes a pixel definition layer which is provided between the planarization film and the second pixel electrode.

  • Publication number: 20080054796
Abstract: An organic light emitting display device capable of hermetically sealing a space between a deposition substrate and an encapsulation substrate with inorganic sealing materials is disclosed. One embodiment of the organic light emitting display device includes a first substrate including power supply lines formed on an array, and a circumference of the array, of an organic light emitting diode, and connected to a pad unit through the power pad line to supply a power source to each of the organic light emitting diodes; a second substrate arranged on at least the array of the first substrate; and an inorganic sealing material for sealing an inner space between the first substrate and the second substrate while forming a closed boundary, wherein the inorganic sealing material is not overlapped with a region in which the power supply line is formed.

  • Publication number: 20070132365
Abstract: A flat panel display and a method of fabricating the same are provided. The flat panel display includes a conductor, and a passivation layer pattern disposed on a side end of the conductor. As such, the passivation layer pattern can prevent or reduce corrosion and damage of the conductor. In one embodiment, the conductor includes a conductive layer formed of a material selected from the group consisting of aluminum and an aluminum alloy. The passivation layer pattern may be formed of an organic material or an inorganic material.

  • Publication number: 20070120126
Abstract: An organic light emitting display device and method for manufacturing the same is disclosed. The organic light emitting display device includes a driving circuit unit, a light emitting unit, and a common electric line. The driving circuit unit includes first and second thin film transistors arranged in a subpixel area on a substrate. The light emitting unit is formed on the driving circuit unit. The light emitting unit includes a first electrode electrically connected to a drain electrode of the second thin film transistor, a second electrode arranged on the first electrode, and a light emitting layer formed between the first and second electrodes. The common electric line is electrically connected to a source electrode of the second thin film transistor. The common electric line and the first electrode are formed on the same layer. The common electric line includes the same material as that comprised in the first electrode.
