  • Patent number: 11978232
Abstract: A method of displaying 3-dimensional (3D) augmented reality includes transmitting a first image generated by photographing a target object at a first time point, and storing first view data at the first time point; receiving first relative pose data of the target object; estimating pose data of the target object, based on the first view data and the first relative pose data of the target object; generating a second image by photographing the target object at a second time point, and generating second view data at the second time point; estimating second relative pose data of the target object, based on the pose data of the target object and the second view data; rendering a 3D image of a virtual object, based on the second relative pose data of the target object; and generating an augmented image by augmenting the 3D image of the virtual object on the second image.

  • Patent number: 8325108
Abstract: A system for controlling brightness flicker of a parallax barrier LCD having a wide viewing angle capable of minimizing brightness flicker by adjusting a permittivity curve depending on different times into a predetermined waveform when split barriers are on/off by movement of a viewer's viewing angle, and a method thereof. A method of controlling brightness flicker of a parallax barrier LCD having a wide viewing angle for controlling brightness of a display providing a stereoscopic image by acquiring a real-time image of a viewer, recognizing an image of the viewer and extracting locations and coordinates of eyes of the viewer, and controlling turn-on/off of split barrier electrodes.

  • Patent number: 5747939
Abstract: A plasma display panel prevents mutual reaction between the cathode electrodes and resistance layers during the manufacturing process and reduces any decreasing of resistance values. Also, equal brightness on the entire surface of the screen and a high-resolution image is attained. And finally, the manufacturing process is made simple and there is optimization of the whole structure. Connect bars are inserted between the anodes and cathode electrodes in order to make equal, at every connecting discharge cell, the resistance values, and there is a reduction of contact resistance to such an extend that it can be discounted. Trigger electrodes and cathode bus lines, which emit auxiliary discharges, are formed parallel to each other on an identical plane. Branch electrodes that extend out from the trigger electrodes are arranged so as to extend out into the discharge cells.
