    Abstract: The present invention provides a class of halogen-containing synthetic base oils, and preparation method and use thereof. The synthetic base oils have introduced with halogen, especially fluorine, wherein the dipole motion of the halogen groups results in dipole interaction between the dipoles of other components and the base oil molecules of dipole-dipole and dipole-induced halogen (especially fluorine), and the interaction force is stronger and more localized than the dispersion force between the molecules of pure hydrocarbon synthetic oils, and thus the performance of the base oils is directly affected. It solved the problem of oil solubility of pure hydrocarbon synthetic oils, and also improved the properties of oxidation resistance and thermal stability.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a metallocene compound, and preparation and use thereof, and the compound can be used as a catalyst for synthesis of poly-?-olefin as lubricating base oil. The metallocene compound includes a substituted aryl group, a bridged atom, an optionally unsubstituted, 3-mono-substituted or 3,6-disubstituted 5H-indeno [1,2-b] pyridyl group or optionally unsubstituted, 3-mono-substituted or 3,6-disubstituted 5H-indeno [1,2-b] thiopyranyl group, and a metal coordination group. As a catalyst, the metallocene compound is shown to be structurally stable and high in catalytic efficiency, and the preparation of the catalyst is relatively easy in operation, high in yield, low in cost, low in pollution and easy to scale up for industrial production.

The catalyst composition includes a main catalyst and a co-catalyst, wherein the main catalyst is an imino-based iron coordination compound, and the co-catalyst is a mixture of methylaluminoxane, triisobutylaluminum, and borane or GaCl3. The catalyst composition can be used to catalyze ethylene oligomerization to produce linear ?-olefins having a selectivity of greater than 96%, carbon distribution between C4-C28 with the component of C6-C20 being greater than 75%. The catalyst of the invention is stable in structure and can be used for ethylene oligomerization with high catalytic efficiency. The method of the invention has the advantages of relatively convenient in operation, readily available of raw materials, high yield, low costs, less pollution and easy for industrial production.
