    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a superhydrophobic and self-cleaning anticoagulant composite coating material and a preparation method and use thereof, and relates to the technical field of biomedical materials. In the coating material provided by the present disclosure, a titanium dioxide nanotube-based structure increases microscopic roughness of a surface of a titanium-based metal substrate, and a hydrophobic modification layer reduces surface energy of the material. The rough structure and the hydrophobic modification layer have a synergistic effect to construct a superhydrophobic surface, making the surface of the material have self-cleaning characteristics and low adhesion. Air can be retained on the surface of the material to form an air layer, thereby reducing the contact area between the material and bacteria and platelets in the blood, and inhibiting adhesion of the bacteria, platelets, and plasma proteins to the material.

    Abstract: A circuit and a method for controlling a rectifier, and a circuit including the rectifier are disclosed. The rectifier may comprise: a transformer (T); an inductor (Lm) coupled with a primary winding (Np) of the transformer (T) in parallel; at least one switching component (SR1, SR2) coupled between a secondary winding (Ns1, Ns2) of the transformer (T) and an output of the rectifier. The method may comprise: sensing (S101) a current flowing into a combination of the inductor (Lm) and the primary winding (Np) of the transformer (T); generating (S102) an indication voltage, based on the sensed current; comparing (S103) the indication voltage and a reference voltage; and driving (S104) the at least one switching component (SR1, SR2), based on a comparison result of the indication voltage and the reference voltage. The timing point for turning on/off the switching component (SR1, SR2) may be optimized, so as to reduce the power loss and improve the efficiency.

    Abstract: The near-infrared window of fluorescent heptamethine cyanine dyes greatly facilitates biological imaging because there is deep penetration of the light and negligible background fluorescence. But dye instability, aggregation, and poor pharmacokinetics are current drawbacks that limit performance and the scope of possible applications. All these limitations are simultaneously overcome with a new molecular design strategy that produces a charge balanced and sterically shielded fluorochrome. The key design feature is a meso-Aryl group that simultaneously projects two shielding arms directly over each face of a linear heptamethine polyene. Cell and mouse imaging experiments compared a shielded heptamethine cyanine dye (and several peptide and antibody bioconjugates) to benchmark heptamethine dyes and found that the shielded systems possess an unsurpassed combination of photophysical, physiochemical and biodistribution properties that greatly enhance bioimaging performance.
