  • Patent number: 11918531
Abstract: Provided is a thermotherapy device, which includes a first housing (10), a second housing (20) disposed under the first housing (10), a transfer plate (30), at both sides of which transfer rollers (31) are provided, and a pair of guide rails (40) that is provided to the second housing (20) and on which the respective transfer rollers (31) of the transfer plate (30) are placed. The pair of guide rails (40) are integrally molded when the second housing (20) is injection-molded. Thus, since the guide rails on which the transfer rollers of the transfer plate travel are integrally molded when the second housing is injection-molded, inefficiency caused by mounting separate rails as in the related art is removed, and thereby assemblability, productivity, and economic efficiency of the thermotherapy device can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20160225291
Abstract: A medical image display system and method are disclosed herein. The medical image display system includes a processor within a computing system. The processor acquires an image of the body part of a subject where a stent is to be implanted and a three-dimensional (3D) anatomical model which is generated to include the body part, simulates variation in the 3D anatomical model, attributable to the implantation of the stent, for each of a plurality of simulation conditions, including one or more of a type of stent and a target location where the stent is to be implanted, based on the 3D anatomical model, and displays simulation results for the plurality of respective simulation conditions on a screen by using variations in the 3D anatomical model.

  • Publication number: 20160217375
Abstract: A system and method for stent recommendation are disclosed herein. The stent recommendation system includes a processor and a database. The processor acquires an image of the body part of a subject where a stent is to be implanted, simulates a stent implantation target location for each of a plurality of types of stents based on the image, and computes a fitness score for each of the plurality of types of stents based on preset evaluation criteria. The processor displays at least one of the plurality of types of stents on a display screen as recommended stents based on the fitness score computed for each of the plurality of types of stents. The database stores the result data of the simulation performed for each of the plurality of types of stents.

  • Patent number: 8655039
Abstract: The method of segmenting a lesion in an image according to the present invention includes the steps of: obtaining an image of a region of interest from an image of a lesion; adjusting the contrast of the obtained image of the region of interest such that the contrast changes according to the distance from the center of the region of interest; removing noise from the image whose contrast is adjusted; and separating the region of the lesion from the noise-removed image. In the step of adjusting the contrast, the image is adjusted such that the contrast is increased as it goes away from the center of the region of interest, and thus it is possible to segment the lesion while maintaining the original shape of the lesion, thereby reliably segmenting the lesion even in the case where the inside of the lesion is not uniform.

  • Patent number: 7664301
Abstract: The present invention relates a method and an apparatus for enhancing ultrasound image quality through a post-processing. A method for enhancing an image quality of a two-dimensional (2D) ultrasound image, comprises the steps of: a) decomposing the 2D ultrasound image into a plurality of images having a multi-resolution by N levels, wherein N is a positive integer; b) determining characteristics of each pixel in the decomposed image; c) performing an enhancement process for the decomposed image based on the pixel characteristics; d) performing 1st-level composition for the decomposed image; and e) repeatedly performing steps b) to d) until a size of the composed image is identical to that of the 2D ultrasound image.
