  • Patent number: 9356740
Abstract: A PRACH preamble sequence being sent by the UE is received. An RAR in response to the PRACH preamble sequence is generated. The RAR includes a TA command. The TA command includes an integer value that is greater than 1282. The integer value alone is capable of determining a TA supporting the UE to perform an uplink time alignment. The RAR is then sent to the UE.

  • Patent number: 7190827
Abstract: A color space conversion technique uses a set of control lines in a first color space. Each control line includes several control points having predetermined values in a second color space. A planar region is identified among the set of control lines in the first color space. The planar region contains a number of target points that are to be interpolated from the first color space to the second color space. The planar region is partitioned into at least a first area and a quadrangular area. Target points in the quadrangular area correspond to a different set of colorants from the second color space than target points in the first area. A quadrangular interpolation is applied to the target points in the quadrangular area to determine corresponding values in the second color space based at least in part on the predetermined values of control points bounding the quadrangular area.

  • Patent number: 7133159
Abstract: A method of an embodiment of he invention is disclosed in which image data is bi-directionally color calibrated using one or more online color calibration tables. The image data, as has been bi-directionally color calibrated is output.

  • Patent number: 6851785
Abstract: A systems and method for printer calibration creates linearization tables by receiving optical density related measurements for a primary ink in a group of one or more print heads printing with the primary ink, selecting from the group of print heads at least two print heads that deliver a range of optical densities when printing with the one or more primary ink, generating prebuilt linearization tables corresponding to the at least two print heads that compensate for different ink drop weights printed by the at least two print heads, and providing the prebuilt linearization tables and at least a portion of the optical density related measurements to a calibration routine that interpolates the prebuilt linearization tables to create an actual linearization table for the primary ink printed by a print head.

  • Publication number: 20040196476
Abstract: A color printing system and method for reducing bidirectional hue shift in ink-jet printing. A set of data channels for the ink colors of the system is generated, including at least one print-direction-independent data channel, and at least one pair of print-direction-dependent data channels. A print controller receives the set of data channels for printing, and selects the print-direction-independent data channels, and one of each pair of print-direction-dependent data channels, to provide the data for printing in each pposite scanning direction of the print engine.

  • Patent number: 6552824
Abstract: A method is described of processing image data of pixels to be rendered. In the method, image data representing a pixel to be rendered is provided. Criteria or tests are established for processing the pixel in accordance with binary error diffusion or multibit error diffusion. In response to examination of the pixel in accordance with the criteria, a decision is made as to whether the pixel is to be rendered in accordance with binary error diffusion or multibit error diffusion. The pixel is then rendered in accordance with the decision.

  • Patent number: 6356360
Abstract: A method and apparatus of generating rendered image data for use in reproducing an image with a series of patterns of halftone dots. In the method and apparatus an unrendered pixel value of a pixel to be rendered is compared with each of a series of threshold values in accordance with respective comparison criteria and a grey level for a rendered pixel of a halftone dot is generated by having certain threshold values define increasing grey level values of the rendered pixel upon meeting respective criteria and at least one threshold value of the series defines a decrease in grey level value of the rendered pixel for meeting a respective comparison criteria.
