Abstract: The present invention provides a method for implementing shared editing of a document, including: dividing a document into multiple portions; when a user modifies the document, providing at least one portion of the multiple portions for the user to modify, wherein the at least one portion is prohibited to be modified by another user at the same time; and storing the modified by the user. Therefore, multiple users may edit a same document simultaneously by utilizing a docbase management system, and the modifications made by each user to the document can be stored wholly. Moreover, because the document is managed by one party, the security of the document can be guaranteed.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a system for document security control to improve the security of document data, and the system comprises: an application, embedded in a machine readable medium, which performs a security control operation on abstract unstructured information by issuing an instruction to a platform software; the platform software, embedded in a machine readable medium, which accepts the instruction from the application and performs the security control operation on storage data corresponding to the abstract unstructured information; wherein, said abstract unstructured information are independent of a way in which said storage data are stored.

Abstract: A system of accessing a copy-prevented encrypted data file transmitted over a network includes a server apparatus having data files; and a client apparatus comprising a read apparatus and a temporary storage. A data file in a server apparatus is accessed through the network from the client apparatus and cached in the temporary storage, and the data file cached in the temporary storage is obtainable by the read apparatus for human recognition of the content of the data file. The read apparatus is not capable of at least one of printing and saving as. The present invention also provides a method of accessing a copy-prevented encrypted data file from a server apparatus. The system and method improve data file transmission security and decrease the possibility of copying and decrypting the data file.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a docbase management system and a method for extending docbase management system functions. The method includes: determining an extended function module which matches extended data, wherein, the extended function module is compatible with a system extension interface in a docbase management system; invoking, through the system extension interface of the docbase management system, the determined extended function module to process the extended data. The method provided by the present invention enables the docbase management system functions to be extended without recompiling the docbase management system.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for encapsulating Unstructured Operation Markup Language (UOML) into an Application Programming Interface (API), including: mapping an object of an UOML operation to a data type of a programming language, mapping the UOML operation to an API function prototype in the programming language, wherein an attribute or sub element of the UOML operation is mapped to a parameter of the API function prototype; wherein, when an API function is invoked, the API function issues a corresponding UOML operation instruction to a docbase management system according to the mapping relations; after an operation defined by the UOML operation instruction is executed by the docbase management system, the return result from the docbase management system is converted into a data type of the programming language by the API function.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a docbase management system, including a first module, adapted to parse a received invocation from an application and generate an execution plan which comprises operations on physical storage; a second module, adapted to execute the execution plan to schedule a third module to execute the operations on physical storage in the execution plan; and the third module, adapted to execute the operations on physical storage in the execution plan under the scheduling of the second module. Since the implementation of the docbase management system is divided into hierarchies, and the hierarchies are independent of each other, the docbase management system is well extendable, scalable and maintainable.
