    Abstract: The invention relates to methods and devices for setting up connection for wireless relay network, wherein, mobile station utilizes the primary transmission path from itself and relay stations in the initial ranging and network entry procedure to send a request signal to base station. After the base station receives the request signal, it allocates a transmission path for the mobile station, and sends the information to the relay station on the path along the primary transmission path, and sends a response message to the mobile station. When the mobile station and the related relay stations obtain the corresponding response message and transmission path information, the signal sent by the mobile station is sent to the base station via relay stations along the transmission path.

    Abstract: A relay method and device, wherein the control signal and the data signal which are in the same subframe are directly sent to a lower level device respectively by an upper level device and a relay function device. In one example, the relay function device transmits data signal using subscriber special reference signal to make the lower level device estimate an access channel correctly; in another example, the relay function device carries out precoding of the data signal correlative with the access channel so as to cancel the influence of the access channel, thereby make the lower level device receive data signal correctly. Retransmission control signaling is sent to the lower level device in each subframe by the upper level device to ensure the fixed sequential relationship of feedback retransmission.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a method for identifying a connection, mobile station and base station. The method comprises the steps of: assigning a MS ID to the mobile station when the mobile station enters into the coverage area of the base station; and assigning a connection ID to a connection when the connection is established between the base station and the mobile station. With the proposed solution, the data overhead could be reduced due to short Connection ID instead of 16-bit CID in 802.16e, especially for VoIP traffic. In addition, due to adjustable bit-length of Connection ID, the tuple <MS ID, Connection ID>could flexibly support different numbers of connections while keeping overhead in minimal.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a system for transmitting interacting data between neighboring BSs via a MS and a method thereof The system comprises a first BS which transmits the interacting data to the MS, and a MS which receives the interacting data from the first BS and transmits the received interacting data to a second BS that neighbors to the first BS. The invention also provides a communication system and a method thereof, wherein a MS communicates with a first BS using an established first communication channel, and the MS to communicates with the second BS using an established second communication channel. The system of the invention uses a MS within the overlapped coverage area of neighboring BSs to perform transmission of interacting data such as control information for coordination, so as to reduce latency required for interacting data transmission between neighboring BSs.

The invention omits the steps of de-cascading, de-segmenting or de-capsulating the MAC PDUs in order to obtain MAC SDUs, and the steps of scheduling by category, cascading, segmenting, and encapsulating the MAC SDUs in order to re-generate the MAC PDUs in the prior art, and the invention simplifies the data processing procedure and achieves the goal of decreasing the relay latency.
