Publication number: 20230330343Abstract: A syringe assembly (1) having a flexible reservoir (2) containing fluid (3) at a proximal end, which is connected to a needle holding section (5) by a passageway (4) at an exit end of the reservoir. The reservoir has a seal (9) over the exit end to protect the fluid from exposure to air or contamination. The needle-holding section is threadably connected to the passageway so when the needle holding section is rotated inward toward the reservoir an inner portion of the needle (10) can pierce the seal to allow the fluid in the reservoir to pass through the needle into a user’s body when the reservoir is squeezed or depressed. A spring (12) attached to the needle holding section surrounds the length of the needle acts as a cover to help prevent accidental needle pricks.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 30, 2023Publication date: October 19, 2023Inventor: DONN R. Publication number: 20090115626Abstract: An automatic meter reading (AMR) data communication network for relaying meter commodity information includes a commodity provider node, a gateway node configured to communicate with the commodity provider node, and meter nodes configured to measure commodity characteristic data and communicate with the gateway node and with other meter nodes. A source node of the meter nodes generates a data packet that includes meter commodity information to be relayed to the commodity provider node, and when a first meter node of the meter nodes receives the source data packet, the first meter node relays the source data packet to a second node. The second node can include another meter node, a repeater node, the gateway node, or the commodity provider node. In an embodiment, the first meter node determines whether the data packet specifies a relay path for relaying the source data packet to the commodity provider node.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 2, 2007Publication date: May 7, 2009Inventors: Raj Vaswani, George Flammer, III, Donn R.
