    Abstract: Impressions of the patient's upper and lower arches are prepared and a plaster of Paris model of each of the arches is cast. A wax plate is formed on each model around the palate and gingival areas surrounding the teeth. A tooth and the surrounding wax plate is removed exposing the plaster. A base, formed of fast cure acrylic material, is then formed on the exposed plaster. A replacement tooth is then placed in the base material.
