  • Publication number: 20140199915
Abstract: Filamentous bodies which are longitudinally extended and other film-like constructions are made by combining liquid siliceous precursors with air and extruding them. Distinct types or grades of fibers, strands, and other film-like constructions are produced which have a multiplicity of useful applications and indications for use owing to their inherent memory, compactability, tensile strength and density. A prosthetic device for a mastectomy bra is constructed with filamentous bodies. It can be sewn permanently into the bra cup. The device can be refilled to counteract volume loss.

  • Patent number: 8317017
Abstract: An article of packaging in the form of a carton having an information-bearing insert enclosed within a substantially closed chamber defined by at least one side wall portion of the carton and a further panel facing an inner face of said at least one side wall portion, said side wall portion having a plurality of pre-cut tear lines or perforations defining an openable tab or flap for gaining access to said chamber and to the insert located therein, wherein said chamber is not accessible from a loading opening of the carton such that the chamber does not interfere with the loading of a product into the carton.

  • Patent number: 7270376
Abstract: By combining a wedged cushion and specialized method for aligning a user's ischial tuberosities—which increases relative lordosis in the lumbar spine and pelvis venous outflow from the lower extremities, in a sitting position by decreasing venous obstruction and enhancing flow at the femoral vein level, novel seating products are achieved which are particularly amenable to installation in combination with conventional children's seating mechanisms, using seat cushions, inserts, or specialized plastic-related enhancements. Proper spinal alignment, growth and sustainable posture are further possible for developing systems according to the teachings of the present disclosure.
