Abstract: A decorative lamp shade design element for use with a table or floor lamp, a ceiling or wall mounted lighting fixture or other lighting fixture where the shade is comprised of a man's or woman's dress or casual hat with a suspension mechanism mounted within the hat such that the hat shade is so positioned over the lighting element as to shade and direct the light from the element in a pleasing and useful manner.
