    Abstract: According to some embodiments, an identification card may be provided with one or more gripping elements. For example, a raised border portion might be provided on the card's front and/or back face adjacent to and extending along at lease some of the card's sides. As another example, notches might be etched into the sides of the identification card. As still another example, an array of indented, gripping dimple portions might be provided on the front and/or back faces of the identification card.
