  • Publication number: 20230372763
Abstract: Improvements in an adjustable dumbbell to adjust the weight by insertion and removal of weights to one or both sides of the dumbbell. The weights are loaded into a carousel around the outside of the dumbbell handgrip. The weights can be place in opposing axial arrangement or can be placed in an uneven loading. A locking mechanism allows for a single rotation of the locking mechanism to secure and unlock all weights with a single rotation. The locking mechanism prevents the weights from falling or dislodging from the dumbbell axle when the dumbbell is being used. A rotating central axil allows for the heavy side of the dumbbell to rotate to a lower position. The rotating axil creates an eccentric weight placement for dynamic inertia exercises where a user can rotate or spin the eccentric weight around the handle of the dumbbell.

  • Publication number: 20220176190
Abstract: Improvements in a bench is disclosed. The bench is configured so the gap between the seat and the backrest is adjusted as angle of the back rest is changed. The gap is maintained my sliding or translating the backrest or the seat on the frame as the angle of the back rest is changed. This can be with a rack and pinion, a tension strap, or a mechanical linkage. The mechanism converts the angular change of the backrest to a linear translation or an arc translation to alter the position of the backrest, seat, or a combination thereof to prevent contact between the seat and the back rest and prevents creation of a large gap between the seat and the backrest that can cause discomfort. In some embodiments, the gap is adjusted based upon an angle of a constrained brace that locks the backrest at fixed angles.

  • Patent number: 11260266
Abstract: Improvements in an exercise cycle is disclosed. The cycle is adaptable to an office chair with a hook feature that allows for easy engaging and disengaging of an office chair floor leg, support or caster. The extending hook allows for users of different heights to make use of the chair hook without requiring a user to change hooks to accommodate different heights of a user and office chair casters. The pedals are connected through a common axis and connect to a loading mechanism. There can be a flywheel and a transmission that alters the turning rate of the flywheel and/or the loading mechanism. The size and shape of the resistance loading housing is configured to fit under a common office desk. The user's weight, is transferred to the plate through the office chair caster to improve the stability of the desk bike.

  • Publication number: 20210100711
Abstract: Improvements in an inversion table leg restraint lock. The restrain has a primary and a secondary lock to restrain the ankles of a user to allow the user to invert their body while they lay on a table or bed. The primary lock is a rod connected to a pin. The knob can be easily accessible by a user when they “lean over” to grasp the arm. The telescoping tube is connected to a pin that that lifts a pin from a track. The secondary lock is deactivated when a user places pressure on the foot rest, as when a user stands onto the foot rest as they enter onto the inversion table. Both the primary and secondary locks must be deactivated to allow for movement between ankle restraining pads and a foot roller.

  • Patent number: 10188576
Abstract: Improvements in a cover for a pin used in an inversion table that prevents the inversion table from rotating beyond a desired amount of rotation. The cover is secured to the fixed frame and has a slot for the rotating frame to move within the slot. The cover prevents debris, sweat, body parts, towels or clothing from entering into the locking pin area. The cover makes the inversion table safer to operate by covering a pinch-point where the rotating component of the inversion table contacts the rotation stop. The cover can take a variety of shape and material configurations to provide the coverage and protection for the user of the inversion table.
