  • Publication number: 20120141903
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a flat-tubular solid oxide cell stack. The cell stack includes a plurality of unit cells which are stacked one on top of another. Each unit cell includes a flat-tubular electrode support made of a porous conductive material. A first-gas flow channel is formed in the electrode support in a longitudinal direction thereof. First gas flows along the first-gas flow channel. A second-gas flow channel is formed on the outer surface of the electrode support. Second-gas flows along the second-gas flow channel. A connection hole is formed on each of opposite ends of the first-gas flow channel of each of the unit cells and communicates with the first-gas flow channel of the adjacent unit cell so that the first gas flows along the unit cells in a zigzag manner in the longitudinal directions of the unit cells.

  • Publication number: 20090155660
Abstract: Tubular solid oxide fuel cells are provided. In one embodiment, fluid flow channels are defined by a plurality of bridges between a core and an outer wall of an electrode support. In another embodiment, a fluid supply channel and fluid discharge channels of an electrode support are formed in a double-wall structure. Electric current distribution and gas distribution are facilitated in the solid oxide fuel cells.

  • Publication number: 20080164641
Abstract: An extrusion mold for molding a ceramic membrane having an one-end closed tube structure which is easily integrated and has a high gas separation efficiency, and a fabrication method of a ceramic membrane tube using the same, the extrusion mold comprised of an outer mold, an inner mold and an extrusion hole end cap, wherein the cap has a through hole at its center for controlling an extrusion molding density, and a passage is formed in each of the inner and outer molds for maintaining an inner pressure of an extruded tube to be the same as an outer pressure. The one-end closed ceramic membrane tube is fabricated by supplying a ceramic mixture into the extrusion mold in a state that the end of the extrusion hole of the extrusion mold is closed by the cap, removing the cap after filling the mixture in the end of the extrusion hole, and further supplying the mixture into the extrusion mold to obtain a tubular ceramic extrusion body with a particular length.

  • Patent number: 6423241
Abstract: Disclosed is an ink jet print head and a method of producing the same, the ink jet print head including a plurality of ink ejecting orifices which are formed with a desired shape and a uniform size by only once using metal plating technique, having an excellent productivity and a low manufacturing cost. According to a first embodiment of the present invention, in the steps for forming an improved metal barrier layer, which is comprised of the conventional barrier layer and the conventional nozzle plate combined together, the metal barrier layer can be formed on a wetting layer by using electrolytic plating or electroless plating of Ni. As a result, an upper surface of a first photoresist mold is completely covered with the overflowing Ni. Further, an upper portion of a second photoresist mold is partially covered with the overplating Ni and is partially opened at a proper size and a desired shape. Thereby, an ink ejecting orifice is created at the upper portion of the second photoresist mold.
