The undergarment has a lower opening that is defined by a generally straight back hem and a bevel front hem which has a lowermost portion that is cut at an angle. The undergarment may include one strap or two straps or be strapless. A collar may be attached to the undergarment. The back hem of the lower opening of the undergarment may be sufficiently long to be passed between the legs of the user and extended upwards to be attached to the undergarment. The undergarment may include cushioning means at several different sections of the undergarment. Undergarments that are designed for women who are missing one or both breasts may have cushioning to line area where breast is missing. The undergarment may include a flap between the folds of the breasts.

    Abstract: There is provided an undergarment and a method for clothing a lady with an undergarment. The method of use is carried out by positioning the undergarment on the upper body and then positioning a brassiere over a portion of the undergarment. The undergarment is positioned so that a lowermost portion of the front seam portion is positioned about 7 inches below the top of the sternum. The lowermost portion of the back seam portion is positioned about 10 inches below the seventh cervical vertebrae. The lowermost portion of each arm hole seam is positioned about 3 inches below the arm pit. The brassiere is then positioned over the undergarment.
