  • Publication number: 20230085424
Abstract: A filtering device for incorporation into an architectural façade panel includes a tubular channel having an inlet section, an outlet section, and a constricted section interposed between and in fluid communication with the inlet section and outlet section. A filtering component is attached to the tubular channel or integrated into a material forming the tubular channel. The filtering device also includes an attachment component for attachment of the filtering device to an architectural structure. The attachment component is adapted to orient the tubular channel with the inlet section positioned to face predetermined prevailing winds when the filtering device is attached to the architectural structure.

  • Patent number: 11466670
Abstract: A thermobimetal heat driven turbine having a rotor, and a series of vanes extending from the rotor wherein the vanes comprise two or more separate materials laminated together, said two separate materials having different coefficients of expansion whereby exposure to a heat source causes the two separate materials to expand at different rates thereby re-shaping the vanes to drive the rotor. The rotating turbine is thus able to generate power using direct heat from an energy source. The heat source may be radiant, convection and/or conduction type heat.

  • Patent number: 9074408
Abstract: A window assembly includes a pane of material through which light is passable and a plurality of thermobimetal elements positioned adjacent the pane. The elements each assume a first shape at a first temperature and a second shape at a second temperature. The elements reflect more light away from the pane when in the second shape than the first shape.
